Product worked well
My laptop wouldn't charge so I figured it was worth the chance to replace the power connector as I had seen on youtube and it worked great. It was an easy 10 minute job and everything seems to be working well so far.

Does not charge the battery.
This replacement power socket allows the computer to power up but it does not charge the battery.The power adapter is not recognized in the BIOS.For troubleshooting purposes I used the jack socket from another Dell laptop and sure enough, it worked with the genuine part.For giggles I put this jack socket into the donor laptop and the same issue was verified, it’s also not charging the battery and the power adapter is also not recognized in the BIOS.In conclusion this jack socket doesn’t work 100%.I also bought another one from another vendor and had the same issue.
