Working well for my application
I bought these for a subwoofer enclosure, I put a dab of locktite on each before driving them into the wood, " Small pilot hole before hand " Working well and no issues yet. Tad expensive for what they are.Easy to shave down with some sandpaper to if they're sitting a bit proud.

Do the job, but not indestructable.
I use a lot of threaded inserts in my woodworking projects and these are what I call the basic model. Simple design, lightweight and fasten in with a hex key / driver head. They cut in very well, and screw in place firmly. The only criticism I could offer is that the material is rather pliable under excess pressure. I have some other inserts with a much more robust material. But for the price and quantity you can't grumble too much. But just take it steady when screwing them into a hole, as it can be easy to over tighten and snap them... Would buy again, 100%.

Exactly as described
Helped me fix a dining chair whose supplied fixings were of poor quality and had broken apart over time. These were a perfect replacement and being much stronger, look as if they will outlast the rest of the chair.

Excellent strong insert.
Resolved the repair to my cupboard door knob. Just needed the correct hex driver.

Good stuff
These are great. Drill for M6 ones, they need an 8mm drill bit and a 6mm allen key. Drill 8mm hole to 10/11mm, use allen key to screw it in. Fits nicely flush on softer woods.

Not bad for the price
Lacking a bit of quality, one of the bits got a bit mangled when screwing in, so make sure you hav at least one spare

Created some great knobs with these inserts.
Easy to use. Drill pilot hole in back of knob and the insert screws nicely in. Then drill a hole through the door at about waist height. You can now push the bolt through the door and screw into the knob. All good.
