Shure PGXD1=-X8 Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter

I am using this pack and the WA304 instrument cable with my Fender P-Bass. Very easy to setup and use. Good overall signal response and RF range to the receiver that sits on my amp. As this is the mid-range product, the pack itself is not designed to be beat-up or crushed. This is an excellent pack for the price!

Complements our other Shure equipment and works well. Wish battery replacement was easier.

These bodypack transmitters are great - durable (we use ours 4-5 times a week), convenient (uses AA batteries - cheap / plentiful), and easy (no manual syncing of the frequency with the IR sync; sensitivity gain is right on the side).Only super minor gripe is the antenna is very flexible, and i wish it were stiffer - it just don't look good flopped over. I can understand why (don't want it poking into your side).From my experience, real world battery usage is about 4hr straight hours on Alkaline AA, base unit is about 100ft away, with the gain set to super low.

The button on top to turn on the unit is horrible and died less then a year after I bought it.

These are really great sounding when paired with the right microphone. Has a great range to them.

I've bought two of these body packs. One works fine. The power switch on the other one was flakey from the start. I should have returned the unit. Now the switch doesn't work at all. Out of warranty, of course. I'm guessing it will be cheaper to buy a new unit instead of getting this one repaired. Oh well.

Clear sound, no squeal, or interference. Great for our church!
