If you keep the polarity straight, they work well when used with same brand string LED lights. Using them inside my greenhouse. They are not solder compatible however.

They work great but they are NOT 3 feet long. They are 2 feet at the very most. If that is the distance you need they work just fine.

Worked, but required using the correct section on each side. The LEDs are polarized, and the wiring alternates back/forth between sections, so once I figured out the sections have to be phased correctly, this worked as expected. I lined inside the door opening of my small closet and now have light everywhere.

I purchased T connectors, L connectors, extensions, end caps and pins. I found it very difficult to obtain a pin connection into the strips. Once a connection is achieved it is often lost after inserting into a connector. The strip lights are very sensitive once cut, making them susceptible to connectivity, shorting and polarity problems. As an experienced installer I do not recommend editing these strips [via pin connectors], however they are OK for straight runs. After editing, my power cords shorted, inline fuse did not protect, reluctant to replace cords will trash all, waste of time and money!

Product works as intended, but the description is very wrong. Item is listed as "Length: 3 Feet". The actual full length, end to end is 21 inches. No where near the 36 inches they claim.
