Such a engaging and clever book for kids to explore!
This is a really great book and although it was simple, it allows the readers to engage it in their daily life especially younger kids. The phrases are simple and short enough for little ones to remember and I really enjoy seeing our daughter say goodbye to her friends after school in the not so traditional way of : ‘see you later, alligator’ or ‘It will be a while, crocodile’ The book also rhymes making it that much funner to read. beautiful illustrations, adorable story
Love, love, love! This one of my favorite books purchased this year! My grand kids and I have used the saying "see you later alligator" for years so when I saw the title I had to purchase it. Did not disappoint. It's the story of a turtle who decides to go on a journey and he must say good bye to all the animals in the zoo! Adorable!

Great children’s book
One of my niece’s loves to read, so for her birthday, I added this to her collection. It carries a very cute message and is a great book for parents to read to their children.

Catchy rhymes
The plot is purest, finest gossamer, but the rhymes are fun, and there are some I'd never heard in all my years of speaking English. The illustrations are fun, too.
