I bought this for my grandson and he loves it!! What a fun toy for little kids. It always does my heart good when he is having fun!

My niece just opened this and she loves it. The tent is cute and the campfire mechanism works well. While some of the components are on point - binoculars, lamp, some of the components are strange. The food choices are weird for use in a pot. Why is there a croissant and a donut? Why is the sandwich small compared to the apple. The bug choices are a bit strange too. But overall it's a great set.

I purchased this to get my 2.5 year old son excited about the outdoor adventures for this summer and camping and all that "man stuff". My son is in love with this product. He immediately set up his fire and cooking area then had fun "catching" the bugs and throwing them in his pot. He loved the lantern/flashlight cause the flashlight portion is just like mommy's shining flashlight. The fire not only lights up, but also does a crackling sound effect. Which may be a touch too loud, but still a very cool detail. I think the age range for this item was 3 or 4+, but the only thing is small enough to pose any form of possible choke-risk was a fake sandwich in the "food bag" and this is triangular, so I dont see it getting stuck in his mouth let alone getting lodged in his throat. He seemed to know what all the parts were for or was able to figure out a good use to for them.

Perfect indoor/outdoor toy for my 3 year old niece...she loved discovering the function of every piece and loved sitting indoors in the tent with her present during a very rainy day!!
