This is exactly what I needed. I have a ton of brushes, but this is what is best for gold leaf. 10 STARS

Just the right width and stiffness - this brush handles the gold, silver, my variegated copper and palladium leaf just perfectly (used on motorcycle tins )

Please understand that the order contains only one brush. Hopefully Amazon will put up the other brush sizes as options to purchase as well. The one I received was 25mm. I was hoping to receive the set shown.

I hope the poor squirrels are doing as well as I am with these gilding brushes. Tell them it was worth theirsacrifice.

I am an artist, but this is my first time ordering a brush of this type. So to be fair, I’m not sure if the brush is supposed to be so sparse? I feel like for the money I spent it should be a more substantial brush. It surely doesn’t look as pictured. If I hold the brush up to my hand you can see it through the bristles. The bristles are not compact and not substantial. Disappointed.

I used these to help silver leaf a piece of furniture. It did help to pick up the silver leaf-but I figured out how to do it with just my fingers.I don't know what else these are used for-but you should know that they are verrrrryyyyyyyy thin. They would not be good for anything involving liquid.

I was pleased to discover this guilding brush on special at the time I needed it and it works well.
