Lamp itself is great, but the supplied remote doesn’t work which is annoying.

Honestly best investment ever. I wake up really early while it's still cold and dark and of the SAD lamps I've tried, this is hands down the best one. Design wise it's gorgeous. Light is bright and comes in the usual 3 tones and dimmable if it's too bright. Overall my mood has massively improved and mornings aren't so hard anymore!

The item is quite large, but they do give the measurements before you buy. However, the photos/videos on the Amazon ad do NOT match what the printed instructions tell you -- i.e. item should be 10-20cm away from your eyes. The light coming indirectly into your eyes is what helps SAD. The video shows an item perhaps 2 metres away!Also, there is NO USB PORT FOR PHONE CHARGING -- which is WHY I bought this particular item for such a high cost. It MUST be plugged into a UK electrical socket. The cord is only 1.5 long which makes this difficult.It is hexagonal as you see, not as described "round sun-shaped".I am returning it by instigating a Disputed Purchase Claim with MasterCard so that the company Albina has to COLLECT from me; I have used my UK Consumer Rights which SUPERSEDE Amazon's Ts & Cs. If you want a USB-Port charegable item, DO NOT BUY THIS ONE!

The media could not be loaded.  ►The main reason why I bought it is the option of changing the light colour which goes from cold(white) to warm(orange/ yellow)As the house I live in is positioned in such a way that we don't get too much sunlight this product helps with the mood I am missing.I use mainly on the desk where I work, mind it take quite a lot of space as the item is relatively large in size.►Comes with a remote control! This is a good add on and has the same functions like the controller from the lamp. I can also charge my phone if I want to because it has on the size a ubs port.The intensity can be changed step less from 0-25-50-75-100% and the color range is up to 6500k.►The lamp helps me protect my eyes while working in front of the computer.As well, I like the design of it.►Build in quality is good, at the bottom it has anti slip material to keep it stable on any surface. Mind though, it is a bit heavy.►Overall experience?
