Great for beginners
I just started learning Arabic and my instructor recommended this book. I’m glad he did. It’s very well written and easy to understand. I bought it with another Arabic instruction book and they both compliment the each other perfectly. This order was on time and matches the sellers description. If you are looking to learn Arabic, this book is a must.

okay, but not all I needed
Let me begin by saying this book mentions itself the need for a more detailed grammar book to be used in conjunction, as this one covers only verb conjugations and some highlights of grammar aspects. So don't expect to be fluent using only this book, since it's not targeted at teaching you all you need to know to speak Arabic. The material is reasonably well presented, but I really needed something more comprehensive that covered things like what vowels get inserted at the end of words like "min" becoming "mina" to join with a subsequent letter that has sukkoon on it. I accidentally found the perfect book to answer that question via full text search on Google Books:Modern Standard Arabic Grammar: A Learner's Guide 1st Editionby Mohammad T. AlhawarySo take a look at that one on Google books before buying it, because it's kind of expensive and very lengthy, but very well worth it. I'm planning on using Wightwick's book alongside it, and should be good to go now having both.

This book was a disappointment and I would not waste my money if I were you. It looks more of a reference book than a proper book of grammar that would go in depth into the subject of grammar and verbs. NOT WORTH the money as I've seen better in the market.

Not suitable for beginners
While this book is well structured for the advanced Arabic speaking person, it is absolutely useless to a beginner. There is the occasional English alphabet equivalent under some words and sentences and not for the actual verb conjugations written in Arabic alphabet.
