KitchenTour Heavy-duty Stainless Steel Measuring Cups Set with Long Handles, 7-Piece

These things have been great to have.I've used them more than a handful of times and I really do like them.The last set of measuring cups I had were a plastic set. They were fine at first, but then the numbers started rubbing off. What good are unmarked measuring cups?! (Side note on this: I got some Pyrex knock-off liquid measuring cups a while back and the same thing happened. Labeling rubbed off. I now have 2 glass measuring cups with no measurements on them. Don't cheap out when it comes to liquid measuring cups. Get a GOOD QUALITY set. I personally dig Pyrex brand for anything glass.)Sorry for the tangent. Back to this review.Because of the aforementioned problem, I specifically wanted metal ones with measurements etched into the metal. Rub all you want, these things are here to stay! That alone makes these fantastic.They're also sturdy. None have broken yet and I don't see these breaking anytime soon. No signs of wear, either.The binder ring is handy and it keeps them all together. No floating cups in the drawer.The ring seems to be decent quality. It's still firm when I lock/unlock it. And, if it does eventually get loose, I'm sure replacing it would be inexpensive and easy to do.The only thing that I do minorly want to complain about is the readings on the measuring cups. It's good. It's not great. I don't care that they included the company name on each handle, but they put more time and effort into the name than the actual measurements. The name dwarfs the text used for the measuring size. And I'm not a fan of the fact that the measuring text runs down the handle.I feel these would have much more value if the text was imprinted deeper and was a bit larger. Also, they could stack the different measurement types on top of each other and have them aligned with the bottom of the measurement text facing the hole in the handle. It'd be easier to read from angle, depth, and size. (I'm saying this as someone who has pretty darn good eye sight).This "issue" is a small one and I don't feel it warrants a point reduction. I'm just hoping the company gets eyes on it and possibly goes "Man, that's a good point. We could make these even better than they already are!"The cups are really easy to clean. I haven't struggled with any of them.And the handles are easy to grip. I've had measuring cups with crappy handles in the past. I despise the wire handles. The ones that are just a bent piece of metal. These guys are flat and easy to grip.I haven't noticed any rust or corrosion. Chose these for the long handles. Only complaint is the inconsistent quality w/ some scratches & flaws. Purchased 2 sets to put together one good set. Once you have a good, complete set, they are excellent. Note I did not verify accuracy of measures.

The measuring cups arrived in good shape with all 7 cups as shown. They are okay but not as high quality and heavy gauged as expected after looking closely at the pictures and reading many reviews. Comparing them to Walmart sets, you'll be pleased; comparing them to a quality set in a high end kitchen store, meh. The handles are extra long, which may or may not be preferable depending on what you're expecting, and the handle edges are not smooth and rounded off as they appear in the pictures, but rather very flat with a sharp unpolished feel. Lastly, the cup size is lightly etched on the handle in a small font which is a little difficult to read, but of greater concern is whether or not it will wear off in time. Decent for the money? I suppose.

I have a set of stainless measure cups by MIU and they are very nice. I bake frequently and thought it would be convenient to have another set, but didn't want to pay 47.00 for the second set! I tried these, they look nearly identical and are just as nice, PLUS this set has a 1/8 cup perfect for a coffee scoop! I can't see a difference in quality. on the left in the photo are the KitchenTour and the right is my MIU set! I highly recommend these at less than half the price of MIU

These are nice and sturdy but the measurements are printed in very small font. The company name is large and easy to read on each cup and the measurement is in small print next to company name. I’m keeping because I usually have my glasses on to read the recipe but will continue to look for better size.

I make my dogs dogfood from scratch. It can be thick and hard to scoop. These scoops are comfortable to hold and durable. They won't bend when I scoop the food from the container like so many other scoops can. Love them.

I have had these a year. I bake multiple times a week and they still look like new. They are heavier weight than the metal measuring cups that must have been standard At some point because everyone I know over 50 has the same ones. These also have long handles which make scooping easier. I like them enough to gift them to others.
