Rap metal has been around ever since 1986 when Run-DMC and Aerosmith joined forces for a remake of "Walk This Way," but it took nearly a decade for Rage Against the Machine to bust the floodgates wide open. Soon after, a stream of percussive hellraisers including Korn, Downset, and Deftones infiltrated the metal market, and they, in turn, sired a new breed fronted by acts like Snot and Limp Bizkit. I wore out my original copy of this CD a long time ago. I had burnt a copy about ten years ago from a file sharing site, and I finally got this CD new again. It’s raw power and influence on the music industry at the time, is undeniable and is one of the best albums of the late 90s. It sky-rocketed limp Bizkits popularity with its single faith, and will forever be an album that is the soundtrack for teenagers going through puberty, with its raw sound and teenage angst, that Durst screams through the entire album. A must have, for any fans of nu metal and of limp Bizkit, in general.

AWSOME and interesting
most songs are a little heavier than typical Limp Bizkit but it was still awesome! it has a spark of oldschool slipknot too i noticed. lyrics are as good as ever and its really something i play when im walking round the streets at night too. i recommend pretty much all limp bizkit CDs exept for 'new old songs'. it has loads of tracks but i only like 1 of them. can't wait for Golden Cobra to come into stores! I personally loved Pollution (fantastic ending) and Stuck.
