Powerless (The Girl in the Box Book 40)

Really awesome series wil loads of plot twists, intrigue and loads of action. I cannot wait to read the next book

wow, I've made it through all 40 of these books now. I think at this point I am just feeling like Siena is never going to be aloud to have the time to just be happy or to be able to have the time to connect with her family and friends in a way where she can be truly comfortable I her relationships with any of them.The books are incredible, I guess I'm just feeling sorry for Siena, Reed, Harry heck the whole lot of them and it looks like it's only going to go down hill from here for the gang. A+Author,I wouldn't pass up his work.

Sometimes I get tired of how unfair the stories are to Sienna. If I were her, I would absorb what powers I need and use them responsibly but not let anybody get over on me.

This book started out a bit differently, you were untested in a new character… then a twist! Awe so cool. Now to see what Sienna is going to do with her next adventure.

I have a feeling the series is ramping up to something huge. We have Sienna back in her home state, dealing the usual, or is it?We have her home state putting up blocks at every turn. How will she catch the bad guy and deal with this new adversary? She handles it pretty well honestly. Though I wanted more of the "Kill first and ask questions later" Sienna. We see some growth in Sienna as a character, and her dealing with the fact that not everything is the way she wants it, or expected it to be.She helps out an old familiar face, though it was begrudgingly because that is what she does. I do like the "Final" fight when said "Friend" grows a pair and helps out.I think the worst part about this book, is the end. I am one that just hates cliffhangers, and that one at the end? Holy cow, something big is ready to explode I just know it.

The books are great and they are getting better each time. Mr. Crane is one of the best authors that I have read in years his stories and details are amazing. I have recommended his books to several of my friends and they continue to enjoy his books also.

Life is heading in a downwards spiral for Sienna. This is a sad story in the life of the main character.

Loveeeeeed this and all the other books. Read it in order! You can look at Robert j. Crane's website and its listed in order. Just google his name. I will say though.... I sure hope he doesn't kill her at the end of all these. I will be soooooo upset.I am going to purchase alll of the paperbacks. I have been reading them on an e reader. But i have a few paper backs. I am gonna purchase them all. Well that is unless he kills her, then im out. 40+ books and then she dies young, No thanks. Anyway read read read these books what very vivid visual book.

Keeping me in suspense! It is going to be painful waiting for the next book, I'm disappointed in Harry. Why does he leave Sienna when things get tough?

If you are a follower of the series there will be a subtle change in tone to this book. Very enjoyable, this a shift to the side.As mentioned in the end of book 39 the local government is planning a ban of meta gums activity and suspect number one is Ms. Nealon. No prizes as to where the "powerless" comes in to play in the story. The feel of this book is more grown up, more actions have consequence. Same level of swear and gore, defo YA level, that only serves to enhance the book. Not a fast reader like some out there, but ones started i stormed thru it, could not stop till done.Could be read as a stand alone book as all explained, but recommend the whole seeies, a ride worth taking if you enjoy sci fi , fantasy, super power stuff. Twelve out of ten for this latest edition.

As every other book in the series, it is full of action. It's a brilliantly written one, with twists and turns, unexpected ones. Sienna is tough, and strong. Let's see what happens next.

Wonderful writing, captures your attention and doesn't let you go. The characters are so alive you feel like you know them personally. My favourite books

It shows Sienna's weakness as well as her strength even when powerless. It also shows how human she really is.
