Great Seller and QRP advocate
Neat kit. At 64 it challenges the eye sight a bit but the use of a magnifier and little patience and it went together without a hitch. One tip, when attaching toroid to circuit board it helps to solder on a little higher, may 16th or 8th inch above the board. This makes attaching the bnc connector much easier as you have a bit more play when lifting the toroid to solder beneath. The trade off is overall stiffness of completed unit so you need to balance ease of assembly against that. The attachment of the heat shrink at last step goes a long way to stiffening and making the unit nice and solid. Speaking of the shrink tube, my kit came with a piece that was cut at a pretty severe angle and it left the coils of the toroid on one side exposed and vulnerable. I sent an email to Adam(the seller and designer) about this and within an hour he had replied and offered to send me a new piece. Super customer support! I am planning to use this matching unit with a trusdx and a Xiegu 6100. Will follow up with a performance update when time permits.

Amazing product and Amazing service!!
This is the best kit I have seen yet. It is also the smallest and lightest. Simple, clear instructions, easy to follow, and I'm not the best at soldering! I ended up having a bad solder joint but Adam was able to tell me exactly which one was bad over email. Incredible customer service!! I'm so excited about this kit, I purchased a second one! I'm going to use this as a 40m EFHW antenna with a uSDX+ SDR HF ultralight radio and a small battery for backpacking with the BSA Scout Troop! Thanks a ton!!

Works great & incredible support!
I'd heard a lot about these antennas, and while I was a little apprehensive about the assembly of the tiny parts, I decided to give it a try. The first attempt didn't work out, but only because I failed to carefully scrape off the enamel on the magnet wire, and cut the leads a bit short, making it tough to make the solder connections. Lesson learned. I ordered a couple more and this time did it the right way with great results. Love this antenna kit! As a bonus, I emailed Adam, K6ARK, the inventor/seller a question about the design. He very promptly got back to me with a detailed and helpful answer and even offered to help me out with the first failed try. Now THAT'S service! Can't say enough about the product and the support. Excellent all around!

Very good portable antenna
I have been curious about this antenna since it showed up on YouTube. I was also a bit skeptical. I received the kit today and was able to build it in about 30 minutes following the very nice directions on his web site. I build a LOT of antennas but this one was a bit tricky as it is so small. I set mine up for 20 meters in order to keep it short, about 32 feet. I did and do highly recommend using a counterpoise with it. I added a 7 foot wire but this length isn’t really critical. Tuning was straight forward and easy with the analyzer. As a bonus it resonates on 10 meters.

Great kit if you're good with a soldering iron!
Bought this for my QRP Labs QDX Digital transceiver portable use. You must pay attention to the directions and not mount the toroid too close to the PCB or you will not be able to solder the BNC connector correctly. Otherwise it's a great kit. I built mine as a 49:1 40m and with the coil described, 20m and 15m came into range perfectly! I put connectors on both wires so that I could test various other configurations also.

Seriously? $20!?
I have two of these QRP kits and they are just remarkable. Built the male version up as a 20m EFHW with a link to add on for 40m. Built female version up as a 20m dipole, again, with links to add on for 40m. I've had the Super Antenna and a Wolf River Coil, MFJ's and Ham Sticks, eBay builds and homebrew stuff from the parts bin... K6ARK's takes the cake, hands down. From the overall build quality (tooting my own horn here, too!) to the performance, his antenna design and ease of use really do make this my favorite antenna to deploy and use. And that price point!? Are you serious? I'll be keeping an eye out for that 100w version.

Amazing antenna
The video instructions are great and lead you through the whole process. You end up with a very good antenna that is extremely portable. This has been an antenna a number of us have been waiting for. Thanks K6ARK for making these kits available.

Awesome QRP antenna!
Never failed to make QRP SSB contacts across multiple bands (tunable on 40m through 10m), including numerous DX contacts, with this antenna! Adam, K6ARK, hit it out of the park with this ultra-lightweight yet incredibly durable antenna system! Well worth building your own for your portable system.

Didn't work for me
I love this concept, but this kit failed at 5W (from an IC-705)They replaced it with a 20W unit and it worked. It's easy enough to assemble, although the surface mount capacitor is a pain in the xxxxThe kit is large enough to accommodate a larger capacitor.Put the recommended extra windings on the UnUn - to match the provided capacitor.
