hygger 1050 GPH Aquarium Wave Maker Pump with Strong Magnetic Suction Base, Ultra-quiet 360 Degree Rotating Submersible Power Head, for 20-60 Gal Freshwater Saltwater Tank

I had an excellent experience with the seller, AquaFocus. I purchased the hygger 1050 GPH Aquarium Wave Maker Pump, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The product arrived on time, well-packaged, and in perfect condition. The magnetic suction base is very strong, and the pump is quiet yet powerful, exactly as described. I especially love the 360-degree rotation feature, which gives great flexibility in water flow direction. It works perfectly in my 40-gallon saltwater tank. Customer service was responsive and helpful when I had a question about installation. I highly recommend both the product and the seller.

This little guy will move some water. Have it on the side of my 75g tank for some top water agitation and it works great. Not very loud at all unless the fan head touches top water and it kicks up a good bit of water. Suction power could be better but it has not fallen so I guess it works well enough.

Bought the 2100gph model. While the pump isn't particularly loud, it's definitely louder than some other pumps at this pricepoint. Really just a hum that is notable, but for someone less sensitive to noise may not be an issue. However, I will say that this pump provides exceptional gyre flow if aimed correctly. In my 125 it was a bit of fiddling, but the flow it provides is great for keeping stuff from settling in your reef tank.

I had my power head for 2 years and it is still going strong. It does make a little rattling noise but that is from not cleaning it. Overall it’s one of this best power heads I have had. I will be buying another one.

Works great no sound at all and very powerful

The customer service has been excellent, sending me two replacements to try and resolve the issue. Unfortunately the same issue keeps occurring, so I'm moving on to a different vendor. All three powerheads they've sent me have had the same issue. They work perfectly for 4 - 6 weeks, then start working intermittently and making a loud noise. I've tried cleaning the impeller on all of them multiple times and that doesn't fix the issue. The previous non-Hygger powerhead I had lasted multiple years with no problems, so it's not something unique with my tank. Maybe the Hygger powerheads just don't work in salt water?

The power is as advertised, the pump does work and moves water well. The advertised "strong" "suction" cups simply suck, but not in any useful way. Wimpy, wimpy, wimpy! They let go just when you're no longer looking at it, then the pump blasts a crater in the gravel. We might try gluing glass cleaning magnets to it, but we've already replaced it with a different powerhead. So 5 stars for power, 1 star for lousy attachment = 3 stars overall.

I use it in my water bucket for mixing up nutrients and pH balancing the water. Now I don’t have to stir constantly in between each addition of nutrients. It works great!
