Love it!
This is the best backpack that I have owned. It has different small pockets, and big compartments for bigger items. It has a padded area for electronics which keeps my iPad protected. Apparently, this is a travel backpack and TSA Friendly , but I use it on daily basis. I spend most of the day out of the house, so I need to pack books, iPad, and pens for school, food containers for eating on the go , and I also pack a change of clothes for the gym, so this backpack is perfect for me. The only downside is that it doesn't have a strap for my keys. That would be great because I am always putting my keys in different pockets and then when it is time to look for them, I have to look in all the pockets to find out where I last put it.

A fantastic travel backpack for airline travel.
I bought this backpack after my in between my last two international trips to be my carry on, and I can't say enough about how great it was to travel with it. I recently went to Europe, and here's what I kept in the bag:- The front small pocket became my passport section. Easy to access, but never in danger of losing it.- The medium sized front pocket, I kept my kindle, my over ear headphones, my phone charger, and some paperwork- In the middle section/front, a full change of clothes, including a pair of tennis shoes. Also, in one of the smaller interior zipper sections here, I kept an envelope with my cash, a case with my sunglasses. I slipped my wallet into one of the little pouches, and a bottle of allergy medicine.- The middle section/back - Another full change of clothes (no pants), and my rolled up North Face jacket. I also kept some trail mix, and a box of granola bars back here.- The computer section in the back I kept my macbook air and the charger.- Small zipper pouch on top, I put my car keys here, since I knew there'd be no need to open the section again until I returned to the airport after my trip.It was sturdy, comfortable, and easy to put into the overhead compartments. I even strapped my camera bag through the backstraps so I could carry them together, and the built in bottle opener came in handy opening the free beers in the hotel minibar in Amsterdam. I can't speak to how this would travel for more outdoorsy ventures like multi-day hikes or camping trips, but I did empty it out and take the essentials with me on one 6 hour bus trip and it was perfect for that. Highly recommended.

The Get-Up-And-Go Pack for any type of travel
Quality and design are top notch for travelers of any kind. Lots of storage and the fit of the pack works for me; a 5'9" slender build. Highly recommend this pack. I purchased the heather gray and it easily fits my laptop of the following dimensions. 11.50" x 7.93" x 0.33": weight 1.69 lbs. I also use a keyboard and it stores nicely in the pack too. I use it for everyday needs since I am on the road daily; also recently used for a 5-day road trip. It is comfy on the back and the side carrying handle is a nice feature to use when grabbing the pack from the car. It also fits under airline seats so serves as a nice carry on too. Quite versatile for gear, laptop, i-pad, cell phone, chargers, headphones - you name it. Highly recommend this bag for any purpose.

A nice bonus and a handle to carry from the side ...
The straps fold over to access the laptop section, also has a sunglass holder. A nice bonus and a handle to carry from the side if you need to quickly grab it. Many organizing pockets as well. Overall thrilled for this, I anticipate this will last me a decade. The only reason I got a new backpack is because my roommate borrowed my Dakine female designed backpack, got super drunk and lost it in a river. So being the user designed obsessed person I am, who looks to keep stuff for a decade a more. This was what I settle on as I wanted the largest TSA capacity carry on, that didn't scream I'm going on a hike for 5 days or make me look like my mom bought it. Minimalist approved!

Smart looking solid bag
I previously owned a Timbuk2 laptop messenger bag, which after 5 years finally started to fade, nothing wrong with it structurally just began to look old. So I thought this would be a great opportunity to go for a different type of commuting bag, and I was not disappointed with this choice. The bag is solid, but lightweight synthetic material. The material isn't flimsy it seems like it can handle considerable abuse. The front pocket has excellent organizers and zippers for all you myriad do-dads, an external outward vertical zipper pocket for easy access and a small top zipper pocket on the outside fascia for sunglasses or phones that is lined with soft material. The straps are extremely well padded, and remains comfy even over long train commutes while standing. It even has a small snap-on chest strap to keep the two shoulder straps in place which I really like. More than anything else, The laptop compartment is the real winner, it is well padded and almost completely unzips so as to lie flat. Very convenient for not only security checks at he airport but also just easier to access at work.

Great bag for professionals
Excellent backpack for professionals! This is a great, durable, well-made backpack with a sleek design appropriate for professionals. Compared to more athletic backpacks (North Face, Patagonia, etc.), the material is thicker and will take daily commute wear well - this is my second TImbuk2 bag (first one lasted 8 years). I like the separate compartment for a laptop, two larger compartments for files and such, and two smaller sections.

The Best Travel Backpack There Is
100% the best Travel Backpack I've ever used. Whether traveling within the United States or across the world to Europe this backpack was the perfect size to take on Domestic and International flights as a personal item and fit all my daypack essentials. Had no problems claiming it as a personal item with smaller lower budget European airlines as well. And the multitude of pockets and organizers, and TSA-friendly laptop sleeve is perfect for the those pursuing organizational perfection. GAME. CHANGER.

Life time guarantee?
This backpack got constant compliments. Unfortunately it lasted only a year before getting a large tear in the bottom making it useless. Wondering now about the lifetime warranty but information is not easily found. Solid backpack while it was in undamaged.
