Belle and Sebastian 2: The Adventure Continues

One of the best family movies I have ever watched! Get your tissue ready! And enjoy this family

Part 2 of the original movie that finishes the book it was based on. My main issues unlike part 1 was part 2 is subtitled and a low priced pay per view. It has Beautiful mountain scenery, some action while including some sad moments. A Really big dog, a cute young boy who befriends the dog in a small mountain village that helps those persecuted by the Nazis in Part1 during WW2. An excellent family movie that my wife and I both in joyed. Start with the first movie before viewing the 2nd movie.

If you're an animal lover you will love this 3-part movie, just have your tissues handy.

The Belle and Sebastian series are beautifully made, my 6 year old granddaughter loves them, as I do. We have two Pyrs, part of our love. The scenery alone is worth watching for.

Sequel equally enjoyable and so glad I found these. Plot less deep than the first one and wrap up maybe overly neat but i still really like it and prefer this happy ending to other possibilities. Wanting to be there continued. .

I am so happy that they made a follow up to this movie.. The first one had an English "Voice -Over" in it . This one was sole in French .. I do know a few French words. ..So I had to keep my self still visually between ..shot's so that I could watch the movie... I love the story of Sebastian and Belle... As a former pert parent ..to a "Saint Bernard".. I would love to have a ..HUGE Pyrenees ...baby.. If you look them up.. they are extremely pricey and ..when they grow. Boy do they grow...UP... !! I like the fact that he finally meets his dad ... but it seems like it took forever to find the missing aunt. The director certainly utilized the scenery ..and the story was okay. In Part 1 ..Belle was being hunted by the towns people .. now she continues to be the savior for Sebastian.. There is a scene in the film..where Belle protects everyone from a Bear. Let's be honest ... this movie is all about Belle ! Sebastian is stubborn as ever .. but he meets his match in a Lumberman's daughter who joins him in the search for his aunt. I think down the road .. there should be a television show for Belle .. similar to Lassie ? I think that there is a Part 3 ...? I am ready for that one... let's go ..Belle ! More adventure's ... await !

As a Great Pyrenees owner for a long time, they are the most loyal, intelligent creatures around :). They are sweet, and have a commanding presents. This adaptation of that classic story will bring tears to your eyes. The dog is magnificent as well as the young boy who plays Sebastian. As others have mentioned the scenery is absolutely gorgeous and the cinematography is outstanding. While the story line, at times, gets a bit to sentimental for my tastes - it really does not detract, overall, from the beauty of film.

The sequel to "Belle and Sebastian". Very good movie. Very good family movie. Very good dog movie. I enjoyed the original Belle and Sebastian movie and also enjoyed this one - the sequel. The movie is in French with available English subtitles. Even so, it was well worth it. The subtitles did not take away from viewing the movie. If you like dog movies, you will like this one. Recommend.
