Well worth it
AJAZZ is an Asian keyboard maker that has come out with some really excellent mechanical keyboards at a great price. This is a 60% reduced layout mechanical keyboard. It has RGB backlighting and PBT keycaps, which are premium plastic, and the best you can get for a mechanical keyboard. This keyboard also allows multiple types of connections (wired, 2.4G wireless, and Bluetooth). The keyboard comes with a USB-C cable for wired connections (thankfully NOT a micro USB connection), and a magnetically attaching 2.4G dongle. It is very easy to set up. You just connect it with your preferred method and it is good to go. It does come with a driver that you can get from the AJAZZ website, but for the most part you can use it with the built-in hardware functions to get nearly all of the features you would get with the software driver. The keyboard has several RGB and single color lighting options that you can enable with the drivers or with a key combination. I recommend you hold onto the documentation that comes with the keyboard as that will show you the key combinations that will allow you to adjust the customizations. You can create macros, adjust the lighting patterns, speed, and brightness, and even switch between Windows and Mac style layouts. One thing to keep in mind about the "backlighting" is that it does not shine through the keycaps. It is more of an effect than true backlighting that allows you to type in the dark. Also, this keyboard does not have adjustable legs that you can flip out to raise the height of the keyboard. I have seen more keyboards that don't have the legs, and it does not cause me any issues, but just be aware that this keyboard does not have a built-in way to adjust the incline. This keyboard also supports hot swapping the switches, although it does not come with any spare switches or keycap or switch pullers. So if you want to mod the keyboard with different switches you will need to get the switch puller and switches yourself. I got the red switches and prefer those so I am good. The keyboard also has several colors of keycaps and even keeps the arrow keys. I really like this keyboard and the style stands out well with my setup. I can connect the same keyboard to multiple machines and switch between them with the easily accessible hardware toggle on the top right corner of the case. I highly recommend this keyboard if you want something that is distinct and also offers the reduced layout with PBT keycaps. This is a keyboard is a WIN and a YES for me.
