Was looking for a cover for a sewer cleanout in the wall, where I left a 4" access hole when sheetrocking. This was a perfect solution and quickly snapped in place. Looks great, strong hold. I had looked at Home Depot and Lowes, and couldn't find anything this slick. Great product.

These are great - super low profile, removable, and holds tight to the surface with no gaps.I like the rough, not glossy texture of the plastic too. It blends into my matte ceiling paint very well.I used these when installing wiring in my ceiling for under cabinet lights, so I actually drilled a hole in each one for the low voltage wiring to go through.I wish you could buy these in hardware stores.

Needed a small access panel in bathroom wall for installing a moisture detector. This 4.75" access panel requires an approx 4" round hole in sheetrock. It extends into the hole about 1/4" and is snugly held in place by a single spring loaded metal strip. Sturdy, simple construction. Item is made in China.As other reviews have noted, repeated use of the door will wear away sheetrock. So to reinforce the back side of the opening, I modified an 4 inch ABS insert test cap (Oatey #39103) to serve as a flange. Knocked out the center, used a Dremel to make the flange thinner, then glued with construction adhesive.Happy with this access panel. Small, fits nicely, saved me from cutting a 6 x 9 hole for a rectangular access door which was the smallest size at the local big box store. BTW, hold the metal strip in when removing the door, else it'll give your fingers a good snap.

I love these thing, I live in an older home (1950s) and was redoing drywall in two rooms in my basement and there were electrical boxes in the ceiling (This is not done anymore because you need to be able to get to those boxes) so I bought a few of these caps so that I could always get to the boxes easily. The manufacturer website has an easy template you can trace on the wall to cut out easily. These are really nice quality and if you need a drywall cap these cannot be beat.

Great solution for a common problem. Painted it same color as the trim and popped it in to cover a septic clean out access. Pretty much disappears.

Pros- Fits in a snap. Take all of 5 seconds to install in a plain hole (no junction box) in the sheetrock ceiling.- Flat low profile, making it fairly unobtrusive.- Matte white - didn't need to paint it since my ceiling is white, but I imagine I could.Cons- I wish that inner ring on the upper surface was smaller in diameter. It's 4 inches and the hole I needed to cover up was 3-7/8" made with a hole saw. So it does not sit flush with the ceiling - a tiny gap between the ceiling and the disc is visible.

Don't fit very well

I had an odd shape cut out for a shut off that needed a specific size cover. This was very easy to install, is exactly what I wanted and looks excellent.

I had a couple of holes to block in my ceiling. These look really good and allow for access if I need it. They are a bit pricey, but probably easier and cheaper, unless you know how to repair drywall holes yourself.

Worked great and easy to install. Like most men I thought 4.75 inches would be larger. But, it fit the bill for what I needed
