Great Shampoo
This shampoo makes itchy dogs happy. The yellow scales and dirt caused by the mange mites are washed away, leaving all bald spots and the hair coat smooth and shiny. The absence of scales lasts for several days until you need to shampoo him again. One good thing is it takes off a lot of fleas and it shocks the rest of them. I do not wait to see if it kills the fleas because after the dog is dry, I pull them off and put them in laundry soap water to make sure they are dead. This is definitely a five star shampoo and very gentle on your hands and your dog.

Good product
My golden retriever has skin problems and I find this shampoo to be helpful. I also use the Virbac creme conditioner. It doesn't eliminate the skin rash altogether but I believe it does soothe his skin in between visits to the vet's office.

don't waste your money
I bought this shampoo because my vet had recommended it and her prices were double. It did not help my dog's skin condition. In fact, it made it worse. The first time I tried it I thought maybe there was some other reason her skin got worse. I tried it again and it made her scratch all the more again. Don't buy this shampoo.

Saved my dog's coat
My Chow-Chow mix had some sort of skin condition that was causing severe flaking and hair loss. I had her clipped one summer, and her hair wasn't growing back. I tried all the different kinds of foods and supplements that my vet recommended, but nothing seemed to make much of a difference. She wasn't experiencing itchiness, so my vet basically said, "As long as it's only cosmetic and she's not uncomfortable, then don't worry about it." But it had gotten to the point that I was embarrassed to walk her because she looked so bad that people thought I was neglecting her. And when I would give her a nice scratch, there would be so much flaking, it looked like it was snowing. But Sebolux has solved the problem, thank goodness. I washed her twice a week for four weeks, and now I wash her once a week. Her coat has grown back beautifully and there's no more flaking. I'm so grateful!

Excellent Deal
This is a great product! You can't beat the brand and my dogs' skin is so much better! If your vet tells you this is the right product for your dog or cat's condition, don't hesitate!!!!! It's amazing!

Help for Dogs with Seborrhea
If your dog has seborrhea this is the product for you because if you leave it on as the direction say, about 10 minutes, it will loosen all the scaly skin from the dog so that you can either scratch it off as you rinse with one of those plastic scratchers (gently) that you buy at the drugstore, or you can brush it off with a dog brush later when the dog is drier. Our golden retriever had unbelievable dandruff and still has it more in the winter than summer, but this has improved his comfort and his coat considerably and he loves to take a shower because he feels so good afterward. Bathing once a week if you have skin issues is ok with this shampoo as it restores softness to their skin and gets rid of scale. I agree with the folks who say it has a fresh clean smell and makes their coats nice and clean. I use it on my beagle too as he has skin issues and his issues have improved as well. It is expensive, but I also keep an oatmeal shampoo that you can buy at any grocery store for dogs, and I often use it to clean the surface dirt off their coats if they've been running around, because then the Sebolux penetrates better and it requires less of it to get to the actual skin - esp in a long haired dog like a Golden. I would recommend Sebolux to anyone for use on a dog with skin issues. Have used it for years now...
