Diamond Select Toys Marvel Select Thor 2 Jane Foster Action Figure

This is a beautiful re-creation of Jane Foster in the form of an action figure. I never thought any toy company would make her and was amazed at seeing her from the new Thor movie (They totally ignored her from the first Thor movie). She's even wearing one of my fave costumes from the film! She's very realistically sculpted to look JUST like Natalie Portman and is just the right height for the main Thor action figure from this series. Jane also comes with a second head that shows what her eyes were like under possession of the Aether, that weapon the Dark Elves wanted to use in the movie. You can switch the heads back and forth very easily (compared to some unfortunate Barbie dolls). Despite her dress (the skirt is very bendable), Jane's very articulate and you can pose her reasonably well for any play.I bought both Thor & Jane from this toy series, and they're now standing on my desk posing like the couple they are. I was some what bothered by the price tag for both figures, but it's understandable, considering how much work went into both figures and how much larger they are compared to your usual 3-inch action figures. If you have the money, I highly recommend you get Jane and Thor together :D.

Great figure of Natalie Portman, comes with a head that you can pop on with dark eyes which is part of the movie, won't give anything away. And also half a base that comes with her goes with the Chris Hemsworth Thor figure from Diamond Select. Most people now are scalping it at double price. I bought it at its true market price at MovieReplicasDirect. This figure has a plastic robe. She slightly hunching forward. She is 6.5" tall and 4 inches wide where her arms out.

This is an excellent representation of Dr. Jane Foster. Its not only a great representation of an important Marvel character, but also opens the possibility that we could see figures of other important characters like Black Widow, S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Colonel Nick Fury, and S.H.I.E.L.D. Deputy Director Commander Maria Hill.

Meh-I don't know why people like this one-I got it at almost half price & still feel disappointed-so awkward pose-no way to make it natural-nice detailing on the dress but a dumb vacant face

Beautiful figure. It just is not perfect because it should have a base. The footrest is bad. It is virtually impossible for her to stand on her own. I had to put her arm in arm with Thor to keep from falling.

die figur der Jane foster aus dem film thor2, ist sehr schön gearbeitet aber leider nichts für kinder sie ist meiner meinung nach nur für uns die grossen kinder gedacht ! sie hat mehr von einer statuette als von einer actionfigur. ihr stand mit diesen füßen ist fast unmöglich! ihr blick ist immer nach unten gerichtet und die bewegung der arme davon wollen wir erst gar nicht reden ! aber sie ist ein muss für jeden figuren sammler wie mich! wenn ich endlich die figur thor habe sind die beiden sicher ein schöner anblick!
