Great cable for guitar pedalboard MIDI
This was one of the few short-ish MIDI A TRS right-angle to 5-Pin cables I could find. Works great on my guitar pedalboard to control my Aerospace Audio Atmosphere from my Pirate MIDI Bridge 6. The ability to change the orientation of the 5-Pin between straight and right-angle was a nice touch.

Good
It’s honestly just good one thing is you can’t make it right angle to the left or right only up and down the midi port and that kinda sucks but good voerall

Yes, this works with the Headrush MX5
Just looking for a basic MIDI to TRS (5 din to 3.5mm) connector that works with my Headrush MX5 Pedalboard. This one does!

Works perfectly w/ Roland Aira S-1 (NOTE: This is a Type A Midi cable despite being called "BMIDI")
I got one of these for my Roland Aira S-1 portable synth (Which I LOVE and is absolutely a banger for 200.00) and this was the recommended MIDI TRS 3.5 to 5pin adapter. Please note that for use with other Synths, it's important to understand that there are Midi TYPE A and Midi TYPE B 3.5 to 5-pin adapters. Some brands use A and some use B. This is actually a type "A" cable despite the confusing name chosen by Roland/Boss: "BMIDI". So as long as you know it's a Type A cable, all else is perfect. Love it.

Works with (and required for) many BOSS pedals with mini-MIDI jacks
While I am not a fan of BOSS and other companies using their own proprietary cables for MIDI and other features, I cannot fault the product itself. An increasing number of BOSS pedals in the 200, 500, and even compact pedal series now use these 3.5mm MIDI jacks. However, many/most of the 3.5mm MIDI cables you would use on synths and other audio equipment are not compatible, so you need to use this one.The cable does work well and is very sturdy. It's also a plus that the mini-plug has a right-angle configuration, and you can sort of route the cable 90 degrees on the 5-pin DIN MIDI end, as well. However, that side will still stick out a bit and is not a true "right-angle" cable. Anyway, it works and was just a little overpriced.
