Computer Monitor Light Bar Monitor Mounted Light Lamp PC Screen Light e-Reading LED Task Lamp, 3 Color Modes, USB Powered, No Screen Glare, Adjustable Brightness Desktop Lamp for Desk/Office/Home

I've been using this a few days and as there were no reviews when I bought it, I thought I'd share my findingsThe main reason I bought this lamp over others was that it has the big ball counterweight. I'd seen reviews of other monitor light on YouTube, where, when a spring loaded fixing was attached to a monitor with a curved back they didn't stay on securely. This lamp comes with ball fitting and there is double sided tape on the ball and where the lamp touches the top of the monitor. I wasn't entirly happy to discover that the lamp is partially connected with tape (optional) but so far the lamp is securely attached.The lamp itself is made of aluminum and feels or good quality. The fixing is made of plastic so less of a premium feel, but ok none the less. The lamp is at eye level on my monitor and it's easy to point the lights down away from my eyes.The "buttons" are touch sensitive sections on the lamp. These are fine in the day time, but in the dark are invisible and feel no different to the rest of the lamp. It's not too big a deal actually as when on the light reflects off your hand and you can make out where the buttons are.All the controls are stepped rather than continuous, possibly a cost saving there, but makes little difference to me.I can get the light bright enough to have a bright working area and leave the rest of the room in a dim glow. The lowest brightness is very usable for reading, but I would prefer that the lowest brightness to be even dimmer however. There are 8 steps between dimmest and brightest.There are 3 warmth settings. The LED strip alternates warm and white light and you can choose between white, warm or both. Again, another cost saving measure I think, but does the job well.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would buy again. I don't have a lot of natural light in my room and I leave the lamp on all day, in the evening it provides my desk a very focused look.

Easy to fit.Allowed me to work without main room light on. At times that might disturb my family that are doing other things. Great Product.

This is one of those items I wish I bought a few weeks ago when I first noticed I was getting eye strain while working on my PC at night. I'm really pleased with this lamp. Easy to setup on my standard 27" monitor. It has warm LEDs interleaved with a set of cool LEDs. You can have just the warm LEDs, just the cool LEDs on or both. Right now I have it set to both and it gives off a nice, natural light.I have it on about half it's brightest setting. Great piece of kit!

The light bar has definitely improved my desktop workspace, during the day I don't have a lot of daylight in my office so the lightbar has made the desk much brighter. At night it also allows me to focus better.Easy to install and the light bar runs off a spare port in my laptop which is a bonus as I thought I may need a plug at first. The weight at the back is heavy enough and keeps the lamp in place, however, I did need to add more sticky tape to the base of the arm so it didn't wobble when turning it on, off or adjusting the brightness.There is no glare on my monitor or laptop screen which is super helpful so when on some downtime or having lunch I can turn on Netflix or Google TV and watch a show. I am sure more expensive light bars are brighter and sturdier but for under £30 you cannot go wrong and I would recommend this light bar to those on a budget.

brilliant little thing. works well and does a bloody good job of lighting the area im working in.

When the monitor has been unplugged overnight, the light doesn’t turn on the next day on any device It takes about 10mins to finally turn on which is annoying.

Made of metal, usb powered, almost zero set up and the light angle is fine.You never know what you're going to get with these Asian brands with random names but this is exactly what I wanted and seems pretty good quality.

Fits good on a 27” curved monitor and nice and bright
