It works!
I needed to hook up my tape deck to my receiver (so I can make mix tapes) and I was missing this adapter cable. Looked on amazon and bingo decided to order it. Once I received it a hooked it up and it worked like a charm.

It works perfectly; DIN pin configuration perfect for vintage Saba
Worked perfectly connecting small phono preamp to back of 1964 Saba Freudenstadt 12 stereo radio. Same vintage Dual 1019 turntable now plays beautifully through the four speaker Saba

not what I needed bought another with the ground wire
Should have bought one with a ground wire but I went cheap. Turntable hummed with this item.

Let There Be Sound!
These worked like a champ on my 40 yr old Bang and Olufsen. Used it to connect my Bogen amp to my B&O receiver so I could play music via the amp to the B&O speakers.

Picks up a lot of 60Hz hum
Audio did pass through this cable....but I'd say use it only for output, not input. It picked up a lot of 60Hz hum, probably due to poor shielding.
