Useless, too thin to fit with with my bridge

I love this, and the way it makes my violin sound. Very quiet much better than a rubber mute

works very well
I got the rubber one first but it hardly did anything. It didnt seem to fit right. This one really makes it quiet enough so that I dont worry about disturbing my neighbors.. so it improves my playing. It comes on and off easily

Great mute but...
This was a great mute and it muted a lot of the sound but it seems like it is scratching the bridge of my violin. Also, it does not keep much of the good tone quality that my violin has to offer. If you see in the pic, the bridge on the G string side has scratch marks on it. The mute also does not fit my violin very well. Hope this helps.

Bought this for my violinist son for a trip
Bought this practice mute for my son to practice in hotel rooms and not disturb the neighbors. It really does a good job to dampen the sound.
