Disney Princess Splash Surprise Ariel

The doll is pretty cute and I like that you can change her from a mermaid to a human. The hair is nicer than a lot of Disney Princess dolls we have purchased. The tail is basically three pieces: a top, a bottom, and then the little fins at the bottom detaches. The top and bottom parts of the tail could be a lot sturdier in my opinion. I think the parts that hook together on those will break quickly. Popping the fins on and off won’t be something my 3 year old daughter will be able to do herself every time either. I also think this Ariel doll is ridiculously thin. I purchased the doll to use on a birthday cake, and I think I will be able to make it work, but the tail does not bed into a sitting position. Overall, a decent doll for a very cheap price.

Price for quality is great. It is way bigger then I thought it would be but it is great. Only thing that would make it better is if the barbie and fin flexed together instead of coming apart with any movement. But my daughter loves it and I would recommend it.

Like other reviewers, the tail really doesn't stay on well and my 3 year old who asked for this for months can't put it together herself. She's still thrilled with it after a few days and had fun in the tub, but will probably like it better in a few more months when she can do it herself. Unless they are in love with this particular doll, I can't recommend it. There is an ariel with a light-up tail that sings in the bathtub that is much more fund and less frustrating.

Who doesn't love a mermaid? This Ariel doll was a hit with my niece. She loves her. She can play with her in the water or on dry land. She loves to switch her from being a mermaid to having her dress and being a human. Sometimes she even has Ariel wear both. Fun toy Disney with a great price.

I wish the tail stayed on better, it breaks off the second the doll hits the water but we still really love the product.

So my daughter really likes this new bath time toy. For the most part I do as well. But I wish the tail stayed together a little better. Also the dolls hair has already started shedding.

My granddaughter loves it. The only thing wrong is the tail really doesn't work like we thought it should.

My daughter enjoys playing with this in the tub however the tail is hard to keep on even when out of water. Doesn’t stay clipped together well.
