The box is exactly like what I was expecting passed on the description, and it arrived within a week. It’s smooth, solid and esthetically pleasing while also remaining simplistic. I think I saw somone in the ratings said that it had a scent, mine does not.It’s fits all sizes of yarn, which was my number one reason why I bought this bowl. Fits even the largest bundles of yarn.My only complaint is the edges of the spiral yarn holes being a little rough. But for a hand made product that does the job, not a problem for me at all.

This yarn holder is not only beautiful, but very functional. It is big enough to hold a large skein of yarn. All of the bowl yarn holders can’t hold a large one. In this, the yarn rolls easily and saves time while crocheting. I like that for smaller balls of yarn it can hold several skeins, and it makes color changing fast! Love this!

It's an attractive yarn holder but whatever treatment was used on the wood smells so awful I can't have it in a room with people. I left it in a rarely used area and tried it out four days later- the idor seemed to be gone. After an hour it became noticeable and the wool absorbed the odor. Maybe I'll be able to use it at some point, but probably not anytime soon.

Although a pretty piece, the openings where yarn would pass through is unfinished and not sanded down. The yarn gets snagged and caught up in them, making them unusable as intended. There is also a very strong smell to the piece that, at first I thought was mold but smells more like leather. Not sure why, as there is no leather on it. Very disappointing because it is a pretty piece.

The color is spot on. It is sturdier than I thought it would be. This is one high quality accessory for my crochet yarn. Green is my favorite color and I love the polka dot effect. I have not been so excited about anything in a long time. This makes me happy. Thank you, Hind Handcrafts!!!

I read a lot of reviews about many different yarn bowls. I typically use large skeins of yarn, including the one pound variety. Most yarn bowls cannot accommodate large skeins. This one can.The prior reviews noted a distinct smell. The only thing I can smell is that the box was recently varnished. I used it the day after I opened the package. I did NOT have to pay extra for delivery. I did find that the openings for the yarn were rough and could snag the yarn. I took a finer piece of sandpaper and smoothed them out. It took about 15 minutes. Doing so did, of course, do some damage to the varnish. However, I think the box simply looks well used (see picture). If needed for aesthetics I could sand and restain it, but I am fine with it. Obviously, I would have preferred that I did not need to use sandpaper on it. However, having the box already made this afternoon’s crocheting much more pleasurable without have to keep pulling yarn and having to deal with an unconfined yarn skein bouncing around. As such, I am pleased with the product.

Very nice yarn tray! So much better than a bowl shape... I can fit much more in this... it's the perfect size and shape. Because of it's shape I can easily find everything in it even small stitch markers, but with a round, bowl shape I had to remove all the yarn in order to find the smaller items. I like that it has weight to it too so it doesn't move all around when knitting. It's extremely attractive too! I also want to thank Hind company for contacting me to make sure I was happy with my purchase...I appreciate it!

So pretty and just what I needed

I received an email from the vendor before my product arrived that showed me that they care about customer service.I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wool tray.Each of the four sides has a wool feeder on it.A nice weight and a beautiful finish on it. It is well worth the money.

It arrived quickly, beautifully made, quality workmanship. It's exactly what I needed and much better then I expected! I highly recommend this yarn box/tray if you are in the market for one.

I am using it for crochet project ! Very handy to separate different yarn but the stain product is already coming off the woods in the groove I use the most! Smart looking product! Happy with it!

It's smaller than expected but it's still functional. The main thing to know is that it is not stained wood, it is painted wood and not painted particularly well. Also, there is an extra $25 fee for Customs if you live in Canada
