This device qualifies as one of Hi-fi's greatest value products of all time.
This device qualifies as one of Hi-fi's greatest value products of all time. That's one heck of a claim. We're talking NAD's original 3020 integrated amplifier from 40+ years ago, Rega's RB300 tonearm, Naim's Nait amplifier, Denon's DL-103 phono cartridge, and Epos ES11 loudspeakers to name just a few who I believe also qualify. I will explain why I believe this to be the case with the BluMe Pro: I have been experimenting with audio streamers since 2009 when I become beta tester for Oppo with their first Blu-ray player, the BDP-83. I wanted it primarily for the Blu-ray and Hi-Rez (SACD/DVD-Audio) support. I quickly discovered you could load it up with digital audio files with a connected hard drive. I was fascinated by the convenience from a dedicated audio (and video) component being able to do this without having to use the headphone out of an iPod. In the intervening years I have owned a variety of other, increasingly more advanced streamers. I recently sold my beloved close-to-a-thousand-bucks streamer (I won't mention the brand, but the brand sounds like it's going to always be on it's own, and the model number is - in part - also the name of a larger Audi sedan) - and all because it didn't sound any better than when I was using Auris' BluMe Pro (both with the same external Chord 2Qute DAC) with my LDAC-supported Android phone (OnePlus 12). Why should one digital transport sound much different from another? Answer; because one is (lossy) Bluetooth. Well, lossy doesn't have to mean a noticable drop in sound quality. Just ask Boothroyd Stuart. And with Bluetooth Version 5.3 using (at both ends of the wireless feed) the very good aptX HD, or the even higher-spec'd LDAC, the results are very impressive. Bluetooth gets sneered at by some members of the audio enthusiast community because they aren't aware how far Bluetooth has come in recent years - so long as the source and the reveiver both support (and in particular) have activation* of the better codecs such as Sony's LDAC and Qualcom's aptX HD. The BluMe Pro has a very highly respected ESS DAC chip (ES9028Q2M) on board. For those who have a preferred external DAC, there are optical and coaxial digital outputs. I spent a couple of weeks living with both my wonderfully built streamer and my OnePlus 12 phone/BluMe Pro BT receiver performing side-by-side with digital decoding duties catered for by a 2Qute DAC from Chord Electronics. I played lots of rock, folk, classical, female vocal, electronic and alternative music to give me some clue as to what the sonic differences might be. My carefully placed B&W 804D4 speakers are revealing enough to tell me what I generally want to know, but I couldn't say one of these two digital sources sounded better than the other. As I prefer the app I use on my phone (Pulsar), I decided to keep the phone/BluMe Pro set-up. Pros: Sound quality Connection speed Sound quality Range Sound quality Ease of use. Cons: Display isn't big enough to appreciate in most set-ups. Thankfully, the info it delivers is also on your mobile device. I would feel better about it's performance if it cost 3 x as much. Try it. If you can judge performance based on what you hear rather than what you have been told about Bluetooth, you will likely be thrilled with the BluMe Pro. Bluetooth now supports up to 96kHz. CD (RedBook) stops at 44.1kHz. Activation* Many Android devices claim to support aptX HD and/or LDAC, but some of them require activation in either your Bluetooth settings, or in your phone's 'Developer Options' list (once connected to a compatible Bluetooth receiver). A Google search for 'Developer options for <your phone>' is recommended if you are not familiar with how to access this mode.

Great quality, great value!
I had the regular BluMe HD bluetooth device for a while and sold it with a sound system. I decided to try other devices and still came back to this brand, so I went with the Pro version. I'm very impressed. The sound quality is awesome, it always connects and doesn't drop out. It's very easy to use, as well. Plug it up, connect and go! It's a great little box and well worth the money.

Exceptional Audio Experience with Auris Blume Pro
As an audiophile, I'm constantly on the hunt for devices that can elevate my music listening experience. The Auris Blume Pro HiFi Bluetooth 5.0 Music Receiver has been a game-changer for me. This device has bridged the gap between the convenience of Bluetooth and the high-quality audio I crave. First and foremost, the audio quality is simply outstanding. The receiver's ability to deliver rich, detailed sound is remarkable. Whether I'm listening to classical symphonies or the intricate layers of a jazz ensemble, every note comes through with exceptional clarity and depth. It's a true pleasure to hear my favorite tracks in such high fidelity. One of the standout features for me, as an Android user, is the support for LDAC at 96KHz/24Bit. This high-resolution audio codec ensures that I'm getting the best possible sound quality over Bluetooth. The difference is palpable, especially when paired with high-quality recordings and headphones or speakers. The build quality and design of the Auris Blume Pro are also noteworthy. It's sleek and compact, easily fitting into my audio setup without being obtrusive. Setting it up was a breeze, and it connected seamlessly to my devices. In conclusion, the Auris Blume Pro is an absolute must-have for anyone who values audio quality. It's a rare find that offers the convenience of Bluetooth without compromising on sound. Whether you're an Android user taking advantage of the LDAC codec or simply seeking a high-fidelity Bluetooth audio receiver, the Auris Blume Pro will not disappoint. Highly recommended! Sorry Apple users, your audio quality will not be as good as it uses the AAC codec. Subpar performance from the Apple hype machine.

Audiophiles, you need this!
Many of us who invested in fine audio components back in the days of vinyl and CDs have felt the loss of fidelity while using streaming services such as Spotify or Apple Music. This changes everything! Spotify and other services now offer "lossless" streaming, where the signal is no longer compressed to be compatible with a cell phone. And this Bluetooth receiver from Auris takes advantage of that signal and passes it to your amplifier or stereo receiver, providing all the lush detail of the finest vinyl record or SA CD. We can once again enjoy those expensive speakers we invested in long ago. The bluMe Pro delivers superb sound for a very reasonable price. I previously used the HomeSpot Bluetooth receiver but found it rather harsh sounding compared to vinyl and CDs. The bluMe Pro, using the lossless signal, provides a very satisfying experience. I have it sending its signal into the tape monitor of my Luxman 1120 stereo receiver. It sets up in minutes and takes very little space. I highly recommend this component.

Digital coax not compatible
The Auris blue tooth receiver made a big improvement in sound quality from a cheap Logitech bluetooth connection even with high quality RCA analog cables. My only disappointment is that the digital coax output doesn't seem to be compatable with my B and K receiver despite changing all available settings there is no sound.

This works perfectly
I don't understand how so called audiophiles will spend $300 to $400 or more for the same thing. I have perfect hearing and excellent speakers. I plug this into a D.A.C. using the optical out.

Connects easily and sounds great!
It is very easy to connect. i had it playing music in just a few minutes. It has connected to my phone and Sony Blu-Ray player (for CDs) easily. The sound is fantastic. The range is very good, I was able to connect and stay connected with my phone just about everywhere in the house. It has exceeded my expectations.

Beyond amazing
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 6 Stars! I needed a Bluetooth receiver for my patio TV — my main receiver is inside the house, so I was looking for a solid wireless audio solution. This device absolutely blew me away and far exceeded my expectations! The sound quality, output, and volume level are outstanding — identical to my other TV that’s hardwired through an optical connection. For audiophiles and sound-savvy enthusiasts, this is the one. There’s zero signal drop, the clarity is incredible, and you’ll regret not getting this product sooner. Awesome, awesome, awesome!
