My doctor told me that it's not good to wear a cervical collar at all times because it causes the neck muscles to weaken. However, she said it would be okay for me to wear this for the next few nights as I heal from a recent neck injury, as I wake up every morning in a lot of extra pain because of the way my neck might be bending while I'm asleep.I love how this fits and feels. I'm waking up every morning feeling so much better.

I was looking for relief as my neck and shoulders muscles were very tense and felt weak. I had recently injured my left shoulder, rotator cuff. I was given a sling, but that aggravated it and caused my back to tense in my neck and my shoulders. I used heat to help relax the tension. I was in excruciating pain.I had gone to see a doctor and was referred to PT. In the meantime, I purchased a back brace to help support my back. The back supporter helped, but I was beginning to have trouble lifting my head up. Also, I was getting tingling in my fingers.I went to PT and was put in a traction apparatus and it helped. I only went twice and only on the apparatus once. I was still in pain still using heat to help the tension.I looked into a neck brace and I'm happy I did. This brace is a lifesaver! I put it on and what a difference it made! I had it on for about an hour and the relief was immediate.This brace is simple and it is so comfortable. It is relieving the pain in my shoulders and helping my head from tilting downward. The brace is soft, but holds its shape for ultimate comfort. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I have neck issues and I wanted something to wear around the house and while watching TV that would keep my neck in a properly aligned position, but this is extremely stiff which is uncomfortable, and the worst aspect is that the space between the top of my neck and my collar bone isn't long enough, or big enough to wear it without it kind of choking me. In other words, it's made for people who have very long necks! UPDATE: But, the reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the company contacted me after my 2 star review and insisted on giving me a full refund! So, I have to say that their customer support is wonderful and that stands for a lot.

Good but if you want a better support pay more and get a bigger one. Felt itchy after 30 mins of wearing it.

Great quality and much softer material. Fits snugly and stays in place. Cost-point was perfect.

I travel frequently for business, and the search for a perfect travel pillow has led me to take a shot on a lightweight cervical collar approach recommended by some travel vloggers instead. This was exactly what I needed! Far more supportive than even the most high-end travel pillow while taking up much less space and still very lightweight, this is ideal for long flights where a travel pillow just doesn't quite offer enough chin support. The foam still has some give, but it does a fantastic job of positioning the head so the awkward nod of drifting to sleep doesn't disturb neighboring seats. The fabric is pleasantly soft. If you're not comfortable with slight pressure around your neck, you might not enjoy this approach, but once you're used to it, it's hard to go back to the regular style squishy horse shoe travel pillow design. Pay close attention to your neck circumference when picking the right size, you might benefit from going a size up if you're on the edge of the size range. This has earned a treasured place in my carryon from now on.

I'm sure this might be better for someone with a shorter neck. I did get the 2.5 inch but honestly don't thing the 3 inch would have been much better. I just felt like it was choking me. Other than the size the material wasn't that comfortable. I don't think it would have been something that I would have enjoyed wearing for a long time. It was kind of itchy. Not recommending but I will say if you have a shorter neck and need something quick this might be a good temporary help but nothing long term.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have chronic neck pain. I've had two disc replaced in my neck but still notice pain if I don't wear a brace while sleeping. This is a very good neck brace.
