Great for my purposes
Great pencils I use for woodworking. The pencil sharpener also works great. I recommend this product.

No issues and good value for price
These work great and are a great price. The sharpener takes a little patients, but works well. Not sure it's much easier than the old method of just using a utility knife, but results in a better looking sharpened end. They seem to write like a standard pencil, as expected.

Carpenter's Pencils & Sharpener
Finally got tired of using school pencils that roll away. The thought of whitling a carpenter's pencil to sharpen it was almost as bad. Found this complete set of carpenter's pencils, sharpener, and a retractable belt cord to hold a pencil. The sharpener works as it should. Sharpened one of the set pencils and a hardware store brand pencil without issues. The set pencil seems to be equal to the brand pencil. The sharpener's blade appears to be replaceable. May have to try the cord during the next project to see how it works. Having the pencil dangle may be a distraction, but the pencil won't be misplaced. All in all, a good set for the DIYer or Pro. Worth considering.

My anger management test
Breaks while sharpening. If the factory would seal the lead against the wood, it'll act more rigid while shaving the point
