I am very simple when it comes to make-up. I rarely wear it and when I do, I put on the bare minimum. I just never took the time to learn and now that I'm in my 30s and work from home, I don't have to put much effort in. But I will say, E.L.F is my go to for make-up. It's a good value for the price and despite having very sensitive skin, I have had zero issues with all of their products. I really liked this product for the price but my only complaint is it does not have longevity. I feel like the color would wear off within an hour or two and I would need to re-apply. I am sure with added products, it would stay longer and it did one time when I added primer first but when worn alone...it lasts an hour or two. But other than that, it's a great product and I can't complain about the price!

I'm giving this 5 stars because I absolutely love this product, but do NOT buy it from Amazon. It was out of stock at my Ulta, so I ordered it from here, and it arrived broken. I requested a replacement, and that arrived broken too. I eventually just gave up and waited until it was in stock at my Ulta again. When I finally got it there instead, I was blown away by this quad. The quad in the shade "Truffles" is absolutely perfect for smoky eyes. Very blendable and pigmented. There is a bit of kickback in the pan when you pick it up on a brush, but there isn't any fallout when putting it on. For the price, highly recommend. Just get it from Ulta or Elf's website instead.

The shadows stay on all day. I use the darkest one as cake eyeliner (with water) and it also stays on all day. The quality is great and the price is great!
