Q: Are these good for dancing?

The shoes have pretty thin soles and just ok construction. Certainly a great value for a costume or walking but you may wear through them pretty quick if dancing vigorously. If you only need them a few times and don't want or need much traction you might be just fine with these.

Q: Do they come with white laces, as shown in the ad photo?

Yes they did come with white laces AND black. They weren't strung up as the picture but you can string them as such yourself.

Q: What are theses shoes really made of?

For sure they’re not made of leather, they smell like plastic ; yes, but they look and fit very good. I purchased it for a 1930’s party, and my husband looked great on it. If anyone is looking for a great quality of shoes to use regularly as a night shoes they have plenty in amazon as well, but is going to cost much more
