Essentials of DAS-II Assessment

I am a school psychologist in training, and must say this book is great. The DAS-II is a great tool, once you get the hang of it, and it can be administered faster than the WISC, and to lower functioning kids too. Problem is that I found the DAS-II to be extremely confusing at first, and it still is to some extent. But this book helps a lot. It has lots of administration and interpretation tips. Highly recommended to anyone learning how to administer, score, interpret and write up the DAS-II.

This is a good resource when taking classes or writing reports. I wish they would include more in depth explainations for how the scores relate to the students classroom performance. But overall super helpful

It’s missing a CD that’s very important

We are about to begin field administration of the DAS and this book is a real help in the training process.
