The Jungle Book: Including The Second Jungle Book (Wordsworth Exclusive Collection) Paperback – Unabridged, 2 Aug. 2021

I was impressed with the diction tainting of the stigma. For sure I need to get this book read- somehow.

I purchased two of these for my grandsons, this was always my favourite childhood story

This combined edition includes original illustrations.I was very struck by the stories that Kipling wrote that span jungle and Arctic, Mowgli's childhood to manhood, and is brutal about life and death of men and beasts.I read it all to my young boy who was gripped by it, but not as much as me. It's really quite an adult collection, and not for the faint hearted.Extraordinary.

I bought this book for sentimental reasons but found it far too difficult to get engaged with as the Wording in it is original text which I am unfamiliar with.

Bought this for the first child of 2 cub scout leaders in our group to give to their man cub to learn the ways of the jungle 🤗 absolutely beautiful copy so pleased that hopefully it will become a treasured possession

Bought for a 1st bday keepsake. Arrived well packaged but not as many illustrated pages as I’d hoped for and the paper is v v thin. By the time he’s ready to read it books will be relics so it’s all good

I bought this as a gift for a little boy who was having a jungle book party! It was a hit! It’s a beautiful book and such a sentimental piece!

It did show up a bit late, but it’s great quality and arrived in perfect condition. looks great like in the picture👍

Me apaixonei por essa coleção da editora (pela editora em si, na verdade) e estou muito feliz com a compra. Livros em inglês normalmente são bem caros por aqui, mas esse estava até mais barato se formos analisar o fato de ser língua estrangeira e capa dura. Ele não é muito grande em dimensões, mas para mim é perfeito porque é fácil de manusear. Outra coisa interessante é que ele é bem levinho, ao contrário de alguns livros capa dura por aí. Então ele acaba sendo bem confortável de se carregar para os lugares. Eu gosto da capa e de como o "The Jungle Book" está em dourado, porque ele reflete brilho quando você vai mudando o ângulo (a citação no fundo do livro também tem isso). De todo modo, eu acho que é um bom custo-benefício para quem gosta de colecionar. Ainda estou lendo, mas acredito que todos sabem como a storyline é incrível. Sou apaixonada pelo filme e quis o livro para mim. Não me arrependo.
