Decent tank
This tank is decent. Perfect for someone who wants only 1 fish. Definitely suggest a thermometer (got mine for 3 dollars maybe less on Amazon, I didn't use the sticker just put it in there). It doesn't tell you how often to clean the filtration but from time to time (so far it's been once every 2-3 weeks) you'll hear a noticeable sound (you'll know it when you hear it) and on the side you'll see a minimum- maximum fill line. If that line is below the minimum line I suggest to unplug and clean. I highly recommend getting a plastic tub or something that can fit the part the fish is in cause it will leak water as it's not fully secured. It will not drain quick to the point where you need to worry about your fish dying or losing an extreme amount of water. After you rinse the sponges at the bottom, fill the bottom to the fill line then put it back together and replug it. As far as the phone holder I think it's a useless feature. But for the price I think it does a pretty good job and definitely better than a fish bowl. Also it looks pretty cool at night with the LED Light on.I hope this information helps.

Met All My Expectations !
It's a very small (less than one gallon) all inclusive aquarium. All you add is the fish, nothing other than a Beta - The aquarium is too small for anything else...and you go from there ! - I wanted a small compact inexpensive counter top aquarium, and that's what I got : Thus my expectations have been met so far...

Wow it run so quietly
The light is very bright and I am not sure if the blue light in the middle is some type of UV light but no algae growth. The spare Usb port it not really helpful. The filter generates a pretty strong current.

Not suitable for freshwater shrimp
This tank overall is quite good. Compact, with a decent setup. However, dont try and put anything smaller than a neocardon shrimp in it. The grates on the intake and drain are large enough for them to fit through. While the shrimp going into the intake is annoying, it doesnt seem to hurt them and they eventually come out. However, they can also fit through the drain slots, and will lodge themselves in the tiny hole needed to keep the whole thing going. This causes the pump to push all the water out of the bottom, but it will never drain. This is not to mention you will never get your shrimp out unless they cramp themselves all the way into the hole and down into the bottom. I lost two shrimp before i realized what was happening.
