Knife is nothing it is advertised. Damascus "pattern" is etched in. High Carbon blades do not react this way to magnets. Stay away!! Far away!!!

I ordered this knife for myself, my husband uses all our paring knives for everything but cutting food. This feels good in my hand, glides through everything and has a very durable damaskas (sp?) blade.
