I bought this rail in hopes that the q & a section was correct. However the rail will not fit a t1x.Rail itself seems to be a good quality.

the screws that come with this base went in easily.
This 20MOA scope base for the Tikka T3 is on par with other aluminum one piece bases that cost twice as much. The finish is consistent, and the base mates well to the receiver of the rifle, not obscuring the ejection port. The Tikka screws can be a little hard to take out, but once they're removed, the screws that come with this base went in easily.

Not for a high powered rifle
I bought this for my Tikka t3x 300 Win Mag. it fit perfectly. I've had it for just over a year now. while at the range, I noticed my groups were opening up, but just left to right. I originally thought it was the wind, but upon further inspection, I saw the rail was barely holding on by two screws. I went home and was going to find some more screws, but I noticed the screws were stripped and the rail had been worn down at the screws. have to take my gun to the gunsmith now and have them touch up the threads and get the rest of the screw out that is remaining, plus order a new rail with a recoil lug.

Doesn't fit.
This does not fit my Tikka T3X. Not sure why or how, but doing a search in the FYI's had some people committing that it fits their T3X. Has T3 on the packaging. Underneath on the forward end is rounded to fit 'something'??? The sight base on my Tikka T3X is flat.Returning and will order from factory.
