Helly HansenMens Team Crew Midlayer Jacket

Received this jacket today. Really nice looking and feeling jacket. Great as a midlayer or even over a fleece.Only thing that ruins it for me is the clear plastic tag window at the back. Looks like a jacket that a child would take to school and put a name tag in it. Ruins the over all look of the jacket for me.Will be sending it back due to this. Shame.

Initially loved this jacket, fitted well, stylish and practical, I got the black colour. Then on first wear outside, my wife pointed out that the clear plastic race pocket on the back of the jacket was fogging up with condensation, because the jacket was black it stood out a mile, walking around with a patch of condensation between the shoulders just looked awful, and would no doubt generate a few sniggers.Update:I tried this a few times with the same results, and I asked the question to see if anybody else had the same issues prior to posting this review, and someone suggested putting the silicone bag that comes with the jacket into the clear plastic wallet, not sure whether I understood his intent, put it in the clear wallet to prevent the condensation or put it in after you take the jacket off to help dry it up, either way your going to have the same problem either a patch of condensation on your back, or a silicone bag stuck in a clear plastic wallet on your back :) Not for me unfortunately, I returned it, shame, I did really like it.

Used to buy Karinor jackets as they were less, this year i opted for Helly Hansen albeit I pretty much double the cost of a Karimor jacket. This jacket is without a doubt the best water proof/winter jacket I’ve ever bought.It’s lightweight which is good with excellent warmth lining keeping you toasty toasty in these dark winter nights and the waterproof aspect of the jacket is brilliant. Plus it’s well made and a very reputable brand. Helly Hansen know how to make a jacket with their back ground and history..

Really nice and wearable jacket, bringing what it promises: waterproof, light and breathable enough to pace up to the 12th without zipping it open.Only the sizing is interesting: I bought first a Medium one (my chest is about/exactly 100 cm / 40 inches and that is my widest point under my shoulders) and it is somewhat tight; would be OK with only a T shirt underneath which may be good for summertime. For winter and for work where I like to have long sleeve shirt and in case some cardigan, I had to buy an L size jacket which is still a good size for me...Pockets could be a bit larger.

To be honest for a jacket that cost over £100 it is a bit chavy and not usually to my taste, however that isn't Helly Hansen's fault I've just seen too many bams wearing HH. It is a great jacket though and incredibly well made.........
