Just out of warranty and no help given
I can recommend the CPA-5000 when it worked it looks well made but you judge a company on what their response is when you have a problem. my unit is weeks out of 12 month warranty see response below. I guess they have never heard of Merchantable quality a unit at this cost should last years not 13 months.Thanks for getting in touch. I am sorry however your pond filter is unfortunately now out of the 12 month warranty period, so I am afraid we would not be able to repair or send out replacement parts. However I can hopefully offer you some advice. If the filter is tripping the electrics then this will most likely be due to some water potentially entering the electric parts of the filter which are the auto clean system, and the UV bulb. Can you please unscrew the top part of the filter and slide out the UV unit. Check over the quartz sleeve that protects the bulb and look out for any signs of potential damage. Check over the bulb too as this may have blown which could also be causing this. Please let me know how you get on. Kind Regards,
