I used this panel (I used a closet) to give me access to an upstairs bath! It gave me added peace of mind being able to access this plumbing. Ultimately, it saved me a lot of time and work! It was easy to install. I was very pleased! Highly recommend!

Pros: Good value, convenient design, texture is near-universal, easily paintableCons: A little flimsy, if you cut the hole just small enough that it's snug, it will tweak the plastic frame enough to keep the door from fitting right (so cut the hole a little big and rely no the construction adhesive to fill the gaps).Overall: Does what it says for a good price. Would like it to be a little sturdier, but if it's hidden or out of the way, it'll work just fine.

The panel fit perfectly in the wall. The color is also perfect and the plastic is strong enough .

If you need an access panel, this is perfect and cost effective. You use an adhesive like liquid nails or epoxy to seal it against the sheet rock. It's thin enough so if you have to overlap a stud it won't affect anything.If you need fast access, like an emergency shut off behind the panel, this might not be of good use as it requires a flat head screw driver or similar tool to open (see picture). This is NOT a push open / push lock design. Hinges are basic. But again, this isn't for everyday access, so durability will be dependent of amount of use.
