Flushes great
I have a very compact guest bathroom and the toilet is right up against the tub (1970’s code).I Could not have the handle on the left side of the tank, which seems to be the most common.I read a review that supposedly six contractors on a big job used for various toilets over six months and they rated this one quite high.My other Bathroom has a Kohler And that’s been terrible for thoroughly flushing, solid waste. The Swiss Madison does a much better job and it’s a nice looking. According to the plumber was easy to install

Loved it so much bought 4 and going for a 5th
Self-cleans very well. Every once in a while, manual cleaning is needed, but nowhere near our old ones. Sleek design, and installation is easy once you do a few.Installation tips: If you use wooden support to elevate the bottom of the bowl above the flange bolts, then slide in but not all the way so you can attach the water line first. Then slide in further to match the bolt hole on the toilet to the bolt from the flange. Then drop one side slowly as you thread in the bolt, then repeat with the other. Definitely helps if you have one other person.

💩 sticks
I love the design, the 1 piece. It’s easy to clean the exterior. However, 💩 sticks to the inside of the bowl. I have to constantly clean the bowl. This is the first time I have had a toilet that the 💩 sticks to the bowl, it’s awful. This wasn’t an issue with my old toilet. Also installation is difficult. Very little room to work between the wall and the toilet. The seat isn’t bidet compatible, I have had the seat break one bidet. Without bidet bumpers, which come off if you get cleaning solution on them. Without bumpers it forces the bidet down and therefore doesn’t spray where needed.

Nice toilet
Been a plumber for decades, installed 100's if not 1000's of toilets in those 40 plus years. Remodeling one of the bathrooms here at home and I was thinking about a "tankless" toilet, as this bathroom is on the smaller size. Didn't want to run electricity to it, and we have frequent winter power outages where I live, so it wouldn't flush without help. I saw this toilet, looked nice, good reviews, so I said, "Why not" Delivered right to my porch, the box had some wear and tear but everything was intact, would take a significant "bump" to cause damage for it was well packed. I have installed similar brand name toilets at 4-5 times the cost, and they are no better, if anything, the fit and finish on this one, white, is better. BTW, the trick I use on concealed bowl bolt openings, where you can't see exactly where to sit the toilet down without smashing the wax ring where you DON'T WANT IT TO SMASH....is to put a couple of 2x4's in front of the closet flange, and behind, set it on that first, look under to see where everything is, if its good, pull the wood and gentle lower, have something soft, like a bundled rag on either end so you don't chip the china if it gets away from you, they are stout little buggers that take a firm grip and some braun to place....very doable, don't let that scare you, a ratcheting dogbone makes tightening the nuts down to the closet bolts a snap too.

Worst toilet
The worst toilet ever… do not be fool by the look. It looks pretty but worst than an American standard $89 toilet . I had it only over two years, it has clotted every couple of months. Now the unit broke completely, drain all my well water that causes me $500 to repair the well and better yet, the part to fix this $400 dollar is in back order till the end of sept. Talked to customer service basically the message is too bad” I’m stuck with this toilet or buy another one”. Guess what this is the only Swiss Madison I got and will be the last.

Heavy duty good looking and great price
The packages arrived in good shape. Enough padding provided. No cracking seen. I got two of them for each of my bathrooms. They are super heavy (due to being 1 piece). Our plumber came with an assistant to move it. Needed a stair dolly to get it upstairs.Looks modern and sleek. Efficient use of water. Works well so far. Cannot comment on the long term quality of parts inside the tank. Big upgrade from my previous one that used a lot of water and still would flush everything down.Install is tricky to do yourself due to weight and the difficulty in seeing the wax ring due to the skirted base. A skilled plumber should have no problem though. Also it is hard to reach behind the toilet to connect the water.Once setup , its awesome.

Bathroom remodel
Bought this for my spare bathroom the height is great as the ones using this as elder and height was important. It’s gave the touch to the spa feel I was going for. Also very easy to clean in comparison to old style toilet

Overall good function. Poor quality on the small bits
First off, overall, I'm happy with the form and function of the toilet but that's about it. Now for the price I can understand that not everything is going to be the best feeling or best quality. But that doesn't mean you should cheap out on these bits. First of all the covers for the toilet seat quick release. The ones that cover the screws, aren't even painted. They have this cheap gray sticker that comes off so easily it's really disappointing and now I have to spray paint them to at least blend in. The other part is the fit of the top cover where you have the two selectors. The fit is off as far as the curvature. You get used to it, but I'm guessing the cast mold is not the greatest and they probably have a little deviation as far as measurements. Everything you need comes with it, other than the water line. The side covers that clothes off where you tighten the bolts are a little flimsy but I don't plan on taking those out constantly.Again, it's not a bad toilet and if it's my bathroom very well regarding the style and the dual flush is a nice touch. I just wish there was a little bit better quality control. Honestly, if the covers were actually painted white, I probably would have given this five stars and just mention the fitment issue.

Looks fancy and is easy to install.
It's a nice height, the flush controls are awesome, it's an elongated bowl, it hides the water supply with its open back, the seat is included and is innovative, it's sturdy, it has twin jets and hasn't had any lingering waste stuck in the bowl, simple to clean and even came with a seal.

Nice looking toilet, very hard to install
It looks great and we haven't had any issues, but the installation was a nightmare. You definitely need two people minimum as the bolt holes are impossible to see due to the side walls; you need to put a finger through them to feel for the bolts. Also it would be great if the holes in the sides were bigger as tightening the bolts is very challenging.

If I could give this negative stars I would.
This toilet clogs, even when there is just water in the toilet. It literally clocked every 5 flushes. One literally waits in agony for the flush to work. I adjusted the internal mechanism to have a more powerful flush, but it did not help. The toilet was installed by a plumber - who said it was very difficult to install and there were no floor bolts. Swiss Madison, is unreliable, even though this toilet has a warranty they could not replace toilet because I live in Canada. They told me I had to work it out with the place I bought it from. Thankfully Amazon, helped me. Returning a toilet purchased online is a nightmare, do not do it! This is a nice looking toilet, and there are some happy customers out there - but if you get into a problem with this toilet, Swiss Madison will not help you. They do not have a chat or call centre. Have to do everything by email and wait days for a response. Toilets are probably the most important thing in your house - as I discovered. My advice, stick with American Standard, Kohler, or TOTO.
