Vitamin Bounty Turmeric Curcumin Supplement 1500mg - with Bioperine, 95% Standardized Curcuminoids - All Natural Joint Pain Relief & Anti-Inflammatory

I train in Martial Arts and being an older gentleman I do get a lot of aches and pains from training. My right knee is a special concern for me, as we do a lot of physical exercise (kicks of all types, knee bends, core training, hopping, jumping jacks) my knee tends to give me sometimes very painful problems. I have taken over-the-counter pain relief but have been advised by my Doctor to limit the intake of pain pills. After talking to fellow students I decided to try Tumeric. I chose the Vitamin Bounty brand because I read that Tumeric in itself is very hard to absorb into the body and the VB brand contains a pepper supplement which helps the body absorb the Tumeric. I have been taking it for a little over a week now and can say I am feeling better, I was able to complete 4 classes since taking the pill and the pain in my right knee is noticeably less, even walking down the stairs the morning after training has been easier and less painful. I also read that there might be slight side effects to taking Tumeric but in the 10 or so days I have been taking it I had had no side effects at all. I am very satisfied so far with the Vitamin Bounty Tumeric supplement and will continue to take it and hope that it continues to reduce my joint pain.Edit: I am now up to 3 weeks on the VB Tumeric supplement and it continues to amaze. My knee pain is down by app. 75%, I had minor knee pain last week after intense testing/training for about 2 hours but that pain subsided within 12 hours. I am VERY happy with my results so far and will continue to use Vitamin Bounty Tumeric on a regular basis. Thank you...Edit: Approximately 4 months on this supplement and it continues to help my overall joint pain issues. Knees are 80% better then they were before I started taking Tumeric. I still train in Martial Art and have increased my workouts to 4 intense sessions a week as I train for my Black Belt. This does not work like other brands of Tumeric. I was on another brand that helped relieve my inflammation immensely but this does not. This brand says it has 95% standardized curcuminoids, and it does, but only for 150 mg of tumeric extract. So, it has about 10% of the standardized curcuminoids that other brands do. Don't waste your money. Buy a brand that has 95% standardized curcuminoids for the whole extract. I included a picture of the ingredients so you can see it for yourself. I wouldn't have bought it if I had known.

As to Swallowing ease, the capsule is sizable, so to avoid any potential issues, We simply open Capsule and thoroughly mix in to Gerber Prune Apple Sauce for Us Human Adults since We find this 2nd Year baby food to be plain and simple ingredients, then swallowing is a breeze, although Our Prune Apple Sauce then is mildly spicy which Turmeric is for Us and flavor is fine for Us no problem. Absolutely LOVE this product. I have been using it for 4 months now and I see a huge difference. I have TMD/arthritis/myofascial pain syndrome in my jaw and my inflammation has been so painful and visibility noticeable (swollen). Since starting to take these supplements daily I have noticed prob a 75% difference in my symptoms (took about 2 months to start noticing a difference). I feel my inflammation is way down! I had a painful bout of right-sided sciatica with a diagnosed sacroiliac bursitis and radiculopathy down my right leg. I was reluctant to try Turmeric as I had to throw out another brand 1 year ago that has since been recalled.Furthermore, after just one week my pain and radiculopathy were diminished thanks to Vitamin Bounty Turmeric and are now gone.I take 1 capsule daily with a meal as I am diagnosed as a fast metabolizer of medication of any kind and don't need as much as other people to feel the effect (good or bad) as the case may be. I hope this helps others with this type of acute inflammation as it did for me.

I suffer from sciatic pain and I my mother suffers from joint pain and daily migraines. I ordered her a bottle too and we both started these a week ago. Her headaches have gotten better on most days. I was waking up with pain everyday until I started these. Now I wake up pain free and I may get pain later in the day but not near as bad as it was. Nothing else has changed but taking these.

I like the high doses of tumeric/curcuma in these and that it contains BioPerine, which from all my reading means that this will be well-absorbed. It says to take with food. I believe it should also say to take it with a HIGH FAT meal. I think this also increases the bioavailability. The capsules are easy to swallow, the slight aroma doesn’t bother me and there is no after-taste or burping
