5/28/20 -- I was going to order the same I had in the past, however, the price had gone up. I decided to search AMAZON for another that would be less expensive, but still be of good quality & hopefully close to a 5 star rating! When I came across MRM MATCHA GREEN TEA POWDER, I thought, "Ok. The price is VERY GOOD, especially during this time (COVID-19 stuff) when I cannot be spending much money, but let's see what others are saying about it." I began to read through several comments & the MAIN one that stood out was that it had been TESTED by CONSUMER LABS for STRENGTH & PURITY and recommended by them! I immediately placed my 1st order.UPDATE: 5/29/20 -- I just rec'd. my 1st 6oz bag of MRM MATCHA GREEN TEA POWDER!! I COULD NOT WAIT TO MAKE A COLD DRINK IN MY BLENDER! My base is VANILLA ALMOND MILK with some maple syrup. When I tasted it, I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW VERY SMOOTH TASTING IT WAS!!NOTE: Earlier this morning, I had made a drink with my other MATCHA that I had left from another brand purchased last year & I was starting to get a little sleepy. I would say within around maybe 10 minutes after I started drinking this NEW MATCHA by MRM, I began to become more alert & awake, which I'm thrilled about! Oh! I take this as a routine meal replacement in the morning. When I first started drinking it it was difficult as the taste is pungent/strong but it’s much better when added to your smoothies. I added to a banana and almond milk drink in the morning. It keeps me energized, full and I don’t feel as tired as I used to before. I’ve been drinking it for three weeks now.

Good value, good product, good packaging and good flavor.

This works better than any appetite suppressant I've ever used, and without the jitters, headache or other bad feelings. I take one or two teaspoons a day with warm water on an empty stomach and my cravings for something sweet are under control. I can eat moderately all day long and never feel out of control for food as I have in the past. It took a couple weeks to get the full effect, but once I noticed how it worked, I ordered my second bag when I ran out the first time. I admit that it tastes much, much better with honey and almond milk, but I take it without anything added to cut down on calories/points. The effect is worth it to me. Plus, I got an added bonus of brightened, clear skin. It looks younger and fresher since I've been taking matcha. I guess it's part of the benefit of having such a powerful antioxidant working inside my body. I love how this stuff works!

I've been buying DoMatcha for a long time, normally the Second Harvest. I saw this mentioned in a newsletter I follow where they praised it for it's tested levels of EGCG. It was also a lot less expensive, so I decided to try it out. I guess you get what you pay for. The taste, smell and appearance is much less pleasing than what I'm used to. It's very grassy and also brownish instead of bright green. Their suggested serving size is 2 teaspoons, which is 8x more than I'd usually use for one cup of matcha. Perhaps the high levels of EGCG are more about serving size than quality.

THE PRICE MAY SEEM HIGH BUT IT IS WORTH IT AS IT REALLY GOES A LONG WAY WHEN YOU USE TWO LEVEL TSP DAILY AND IT IS THE 2ND BEST IN PUBLISHED RATING FOR BENEFITS. HOWEVER, THE NUMBER ONE IS OUT OF ORDER IN PRICE FOR VERY LITTLE DIFFERENCE IN WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR HEALTH WISE. YES, YOU MUST USE HOT WATER AND WHIP IT UP BY HAND....OR USE YOUR BLENDER....I DO SWEETEN IT AND ALSO USE IT IN SMOOTHIES AND THE TASTE IT BETTER THAN MANY COMPETITORS. I HATE TO SAY THIS BUT IF YOU NEED DECAF YOU SHOULD GET BIGELOWS WHICH IS RATED VERY WELL BECAUSE OF THE PROCESS IT IS MADE AND THE BAG IS HEALTHIER THAN MANY OTHER BAGS. I ONLY WISH THIS ONE WAS IN A JAR, BECAUSE IT CAN GET A LITTLE MESSY IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL GETTING IT OUT OF THE BAG....GOOD HEALTH TO YOU... I AM USING IT BECAUSE I HAD BREAST CANCER AND I CAME UPON IN IT WHEN RESEARCHING NATURAL PRODUCTS.
