Sensible dose per drop, and no nasty additives!
This is one of the few vitamin A supplements I could find which does not contain soy oil or other unwanted additives, and allows a sensible dose size. The typical 25,000 IU capsules are far too strong for safe daily use. This one is 2,500 IU per drop, giving you a lot more control over your dosage. I'm giving it 5 stars for these two reasons alone.I bought these as an oral supplement to help my skin, but only just received them - so I have no opinion yet on potency or effectiveness.Note that if you're supplementing your diet with preformed vitamin A, it's a good idea to make sure you have adequate vitamin D3 and K2 intake - these help protect against vitamin A toxicity effects, and are usually found together with preformed vitamin A in natural food sources such as liver and egg yolk. Excess vitamin A will get stored in your fat cells, eventually building up to toxic levels if you take too much. Excess vitamin D in your blood is also toxic, so be sure to get regular 25-hydroxy vitamin D blood tests and adjust your D3 supplementation to keep your levels between 40-60 ng/mL, no higher than 80 ng/mL. K2 is pretty safe because it doesn't hang around and build up to dangerous levels - your body will simply purge any excess amount that it doesn't immediately need.I recommend the Sports Research D3 and K2 supplements if you need them, they are good quality and don't have unhealthy additives: Vitamin D3 with Cold-Pressed Organic Coconut Oil, 2000iu (360 Soft Gels) (the coconut oil inside these will melt right around room temperature, changing between cloudy and clear) Sports Research Vitamin K2 (MK7) Gluten Free Organic Coconut Oil with MenaQ7, 100mcg, 60 Veggie Liquid Softgels Vitamin D3 drops in pure olive oil are another good way to supplement your D3: Optimal Vitamin D3 Liquid | 2,000 IU Per Drop | 900 Servings | High Potency | Physician Formulated | Seeking Health Last but not least, note that vitamin A, D3, and K2 are all fat-soluble vitamins, so for proper uptake it is best to consume these together with a meal containing some dietary fat.Hope this is helpful for you...

Made a HUGE difference in my persistent hormonal acne!!
I don't ever write product reviews (bad karma, I know), but I had to leave a review on this. I am in my mid-twenties and have suffered from continual hormonal cystic acne since my teens. The only thing that has ever truly worked for me has been hormonal birth control pills. Since going off BCP, I've tried just about everything to get the same result.... antibiotics, topical exfoliant/salicylic acid treatments/washing regimens, Retin-A and other prescription drugs, and just plain old waiting for it to go away. Nothing ever got me completely clear (though Retin-A has made a noticeable difference as well). During my continual trawling of the internet for more information and insight about adult acne, I saw the word "hypothyroid" pop up a few times. That lead me to an article about Vitamin A production, its link to skin health, and the fact that lack of thyroid hormone can result in a vitamin A deficit in the body. This was all news to me (and I've been seeing a dermatologist regularly for over 10 years). I figured I'd give a low dosage of vitamin A a shot!LITERALLY WITHIN 2 DAYS I SAW REMARKABLE RESULTS! Nothing I've ever taken/applied before has ever been so effective or so fast (besides hormonal birth control pills). However, caveat... I am taking 1 drop per day (1500 IUs). That seems to be on the very conservative end for those taking this supplement (some people do 10,000+ IUs!!!). About a week into this routine, I got a terrible migraine + nausea. This seems to be one of the symptoms of vitamin A overdose, which I had read about and was on the lookout for. I freaked out and stopped the Vitamin A for a few days... I could immediately tell that my skin suffered while off. I'm talking dullness, pimples, and redness. Once I resumed taking the supplement daily, my skin righted itself again. I've been on the lookout for headaches or other overdose symptoms, but nothing yet. My dermatologist advised that it was fine for me to add Vitamin A to my Retin-A Micro + oral spironolactone 50 mcg routine. So far, so good! Hopefully this helps someone else as well.

One Star
Made me feel kind of sick even at just one drop. Try it dermally or just eat some liver.

I've been taking this for a month now and don't really feel or see a difference. It is easier then taking the large pills.

Fantastic liquid vitamin A!
I've been using this product for over a year and it is a very effective part of my skin regime. I use it on my face to prevent hormonal breakouts. I also use a natural progesterone cream (prescription) that helps prevent breakouts, but I have stopped using the vitamin A for short periods to test it's effectiveness and my skin will improve when I add the vitamin A again.I've also had periodic blood tests to ensure that my vitamin A levels are not toxic and using it topically barely effects my blood levels.I will sometimes take it orally, but I would recommend putting the drops in water or juice. It tends to have a soapy aftertaste.I recommended this product to a friend who also struggles with hormonal breakouts and she says it has helped her as well.

I really like taking my vit A in this form
I really like taking my vit A in this form. It is convenient and I feel I am absorbing it. Take it with some fat for better absorption.

You get what you pay for.
It is difficult to find A that lacks undesirable additives. This is one of the rare ones that leaves the junk out.
