Works great with Samsung Smartthings
Easy and simple to set up with Smartthings. I had to pair it close to the smart things hub and then move it to the location which was very far from the hub. I am using it hardwired and it is working exactly as I hoped it would. I do wish I could force it to refresh more frequently or on request especially since I have it hardwired so there should be no reason for it to save power as if it were on the battery. The motion detection seems... imperfect, but I am using it primarily for temp and humidity monitoring which works great. The light sensor and uv are surprisingly useful too.The sensors are: Motion, Temperature, Humidity, Illuminance, UV index, Battery, and device tamper alert.

Could have been built better.
II have bought a lot of other Aeotec devices but never their sensors. I just got this one and it was broken because the back wouldn't stay on because they didn't use enough plastic for the retaining clip on the side that has the slide to keep the back cover on. The other side for the other clip is well built. I don't know why they didn't use more plastic on that other side. I can't recommend this until they fix it. I can't imagine you're saving any money by not using more than 1/32nd inch of plastic. I'm kind of disappointed because their other products are pretty well built. Hopefully I can leave a review on the replacement because at least they did replace it. I didn't even get to try it so hopefully I can leave a review on the technical side.

Good multi sensor... could use more motion detection range though...
The sensor pairs well and does what it promises. It just is kind of poor on motion detection range. I have to walk within 12 feet of it and wave my arms. But the other functions run well and are a good addition to my smart home.I use this with a Hubitat C-7 and it was easy to setup and configure.

THE BEST SENSOR on the market
I tried 6 different sensors until I found this one. My house now has 7 of these sensors and my automated lighting system works flawlessly. Easy to setup and get on the smarthings app. easy to use once they are in the smarthings app. and very dependable.

Best 700 series AC powered multi-sensor
I believe this is the only Z-Wave 700 series multi-sensor that can be AC powered (via USB) and therefore act as a repeater in your Z-Wave network. I recently completed a new all-700 series network build using 11 of these sensors. They form part of the network core and help create a reliable, redundant, and wide-coverage Z-Wave network. I only used them in USB powered mode, so I can't speak to the battery life. One reviewer does note that the temperature reading is high. I agree. They seem to read about 5 degrees too warm. That's the only complaint that I have with them.

Why would you spend $20 more for this?
What would make you think that spending $20 more for this 6 in 1 sensor than for a fairly comparable different product is such a good idea? Easier install? Better documentation? More Features? Better range? I installed this in a Vera Plus Hub. I installed 5 of the previous AEOTEC ZW100 6 in 1 Sensors in this hub before. I thought I would be familiar with this one. 1. Install/Pairing following directions: Waste of time. There is nothing written that provides an accurate understandable procedure. I located 3 different resources, online and the paper manual, that each must have been written by 3 different individuals, with three different understandings of the procedure. This is what I discovered that worked.**Push and hold the Action Button until after the unit stops blinking red and goes white. This factory resets the sensor. Then set the hub to pairing mode. Then briefly hold the Action Button until about 1 second after it turns yellow, then release the Action Button. Wait a second, then slowly push and release the Action Button. If it doesn't turn green and flash, then push and release one more time. The Sensor and the Hub should handshake and pair. If it doesn't pair up, then un-pair the hub and delete the device in the hub. Factory Reset the sensor, try pairing again. Action Button to solid yellow, release Action Button, wait 1 second, push Action Button and release, should turn green and flash, that means paired, then extinguish to white. The hub is forced to install a Generic Device. in Advanced, you need to change Device Type to: urn:schemas-micasaverde-com:device:MotionSensor:1device_file to D_MotionSensor1.xmldevice_json to D_MotionSensorWithTamper1.jsonOn the UV Sensor, change device_json to D_UVSensor1.json although that will not make the UV sensor work in Vera. Doing this just makes it display properly on the Vera Devices page.Next... in the description for this product in Amazon it shows range as 16 feet. Thats less than the length of 3 drown men stacked on top of each other. About as tall as a 1 story house. This sensor is a mess. I do not recommend purchasing it. I purchased a Zooz 700 as well and it was simple and dropped into my system with ease.Save yourself a headache, don't buy this sensor.

Motion and vibration alerts are reversed
Just installed Aotec multi sensor this week. Pairing with hub was fine. But could not get motion detection to work. Then noticed in history that vibration alerts were activated at each movement, without touching device. Instead of monitoring for motion, I changed app to report vibration. Now motion detection alerts are working. Sounds like poor QC and testing.

7 in one Sensor works like it should
I use this with my zwave set up in Home Assistant to control my window AC unit. Overall works well for what I wanted it for. I use it via USB but also has the option for batteries. I like that they give you both options.
