have been working this excellent salt into my dishes. as others have said, it has a moisture texture, but the sea salt flavor is very authentic, recommended

I use this salt as a finishing salt. It’s perfect for when I make focaccias or salted caramel.

I bought the side them for cooking and it works extremely well for that final presentation touch, but I was surprised to find that it works perfectly on address of ice cream as well!

We order this every couple months as we love this brand and quality. Always arrives on time and packaged appropriately. The flavor is the best and quality is better than we found at the regular grocery store.

I have used this salt for half a century after living in Martigues, France in 1969. This is as good as if not better than most of the other Fleur de Sel and if you haven't tried it you owe it to yourself to try it at least once so you can make your own judgement. The workers scrape only the moist, flaky, and textured kernels that form on the top of the salt beds. This delicate salt is comprised of larger kernels with more mineral complexity than table salt. It is damp. Use it sparingly on top of salads, meats even ice cream and you will experience a taste revelation.

This stuff is great! I didn’t really believe there was a significant difference in salts, but this stuff made me a believer. Fantastic for putting over meat before and after cooking, not to mention on things like tater tot‘s french fries or anything else that needs a good coating of salt prior to serving.

Continue to order this over and over. I even ask for it for Christmas!
