... teach recycling education for my job and this a great little book for ages 5-10
I teach recycling education for my job and this a great little book for ages 5-10. Fun pictures and cute story to engage younger students and great, accurate text to inform older learners. Provides a nice, concise overview of resource extraction, use and recycling, all in an interesting way. I alter how I read it depending on students' age, but use this with grades K-5.(If this review was helpful for you, please give it a "thumbs up" below, thanks!)

Kids loved it!
As a librarian, I'm always looking for books to use with students supporting my school's STEM program. This book contains spot on information and is written in a kid friendly voice. Great addition to my lesson.

Sooo Cute! Plus Educational
This is a fun book about start to finish the life of a plastic bottle. I had no idea where plastic came from myself so this was also great for me, (the parent). Educational, letting my children know that when you recycle items can go on for such a long time helping save the environment. Great story, super cute for children!

Wonderful Books!
I purchased all 3 of the "Little Green Books" in this set - one copy for my 5-year-old grandson, and two copies for our Creation Care Council at Church - 1 copy of each is now on our bookshelf at Church, and 1 copy of each was placed in a gift basket for our Festival. My grandson loved them, and the Chair of our Council thought they were adorable - she chuckled all the way through each of them! These are great books to get younger kids and early readers interested in and involved in recycling and helping to take care of our planet. I highly recommend them!

Cute story for younger kids!
The Adventures of a Plastic Bottle is definitely a cute story for a younger child, but I think an older child might quickly become bored after reading it once. My kids (ages 2 & 4) think it's pretty neat to read about the life of a plastic bottle but they are also really into all things factory and trucks at this age. The art is really great and the story is nice, but older kids might outgrow it too quickly!

Great book.
This is a great book that I used for my PreK and also my 3 year old class. They were very intrigued by it and we all learned a lot. I did not read the book verbatim but added my own parts about littering and throwing bottles in the trash. Next year, I think we will use plastic bottles to make bird feeders to take a step further. Loved it!

This book was perfect for my pre-k students and another teacher's school age ...
I will start by saying that I am a pre-k teacher that loves incorporating STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) into my curriculum. I used this book as part of a sea turtle hospital unit. We discussed pollution and recycling. This book was perfect for my pre-k students and another teacher's school age students. The illustrations are adorable and the content is perfect for many different ages. Overall, I would recommend to other teachers and parents. I will be using this book in future school years.

Well illustrated and explained
My 5 year old grand-daughter loves this book. It’s a bit too advanced for her so I tend to simplify the explanations a bit but I watched her explaining the whole process to her father the other day and she clearly had a good grasp of both the production of plastics and the recycling process. Probably well suited for 7-9 year olds to read on their own

My Granddaughter loves this and enjoys me reading it to her, she's only 3 so it's good for her to learn about Recycling from an early age.
