Very easy install and super convenient.
This is about as basic as it gets as far as installs go. Hot to hot. Ground to ground. Please do not wire the yellow wire directly to your battery. Spend the extra $5 and get a fuse tap and circuit tester. Find a fuse in your box that is only hot when your rig is on. Wire it in there. Easy. If not you're going to kill your battery.I had no issues syncing up and it self synced immediately upon getting power.I'll likely buy another for my other rig.

The Trigger system is great but the remote it flimsy
I bought this system and I love it! The install was a breeze and the convenience of having a remote system for my lights is quite an upgrade. However, the plastic remote that is provided broke after 2 days of use. The internal part of the second switch broke from me switching it on. Perhaps I just luck of the draw? I wound up having to epoxy the switch to try and make a repair because I didn’t feel like having to deal with returning it although now I wish I would have.Other that, this product is top notch, a great invention, and I still highly recommend!

2020 Ford Ranger FX4 XLT
Easy to install but a bit of of wire adjustment since the Ranger does have enough space, wish they can make a fixture in front of the battery there is a bit of room there. I use a double side velcro to hold the device on the top of the battery and bought the remote switch holder on the visor. You will need to look into maybe ordering an extra remote switch cause the plastic that it is made off is not durable. The apps for newer version of android is not working yet. I hope they will get it updated soon.

Bluetooth remote continues to disconnect
I’ve had this installed in my TJ for a few months now and I’ve had to relearn the remote to the controller several times. (Which is a pain in the a$$)Also the lights will randomly turn off, not sure why. I do not recommend. Go with an Spod that has an actual wired remote so you don’t have the same frustration as I did.

Wireless Remote Lasted less than 12 months
I have had this Trigger 4 plus installed on my 2022 Frontier for almost 12 months and have had some issues id like to share. As with others, my main reason for buying this over other wired models is the unit does not need to puncture the firewall to give you remote control. This is also where some functionality has some issues.First, the remote that is included is CHEAP. As others have stated, it's real cheap plastic, and getting the 2 batteries to stay in while keeping the very thin rubber washer in place is near impossible. After about 7 months, the remote just stopped working. Replaced the batteries, tried to repair, nothing. I did reach out to the manufacture about the issue in less than 12 months. I never received a response.Since this product has an app, I downloaded the app on my iPhone and started using that.At first this was a great fix, although this meant I had to keep my phone handy. More times than not, using the device with the app caused me to leave my lights on while leaving my vehicle. Not good. This also caused connection issues, where I had to repair and relearn the device with app numerous times.Id also point out the lack of updates and development on the app. After 10 months of use, I have some questions. Why is the 4 plus not fused to the battery like the 6?Do you need relays with this or not?Is there any plans on further development of app?Currently I have my $200 ditch lights on my $150 mounts sitting, with this $280 wireless box no functioning. If I had to do it all over again..... I would just puncture the firewall and be done with it!Good luck and be safe out there!
