The Open Door Series is written by Irish authors for adults learning to read. I tutor for adult literacy and my students love these books. When you finish with these books please donate them to your local literacy program. An Irishslang dictionary if helpful, but not at all necessary.

I learned a valuable lesson with this purchase ... always look at the item details. I love Cecelia Ahern's work and was excited to see a new book by her. I was very disappointed when it arrived and for $11 I got less than 50 pages. This book was written to encourage reading in Ireland but I don't think the $11 price tag will do that.The story was cute and simple and very much like her other works. I can't complain about the content, exactly. I was just disappointed with the cost to page ratio.So, it is a nice read and a cute story but wait to buy it until you aren't paying 25 cents a page.

I thought this was a whole book, but was only a short story. I was thoroughly disappointed in this since I feel that I paid for a whole book. Oh well, it was a good story anyway, would have loved to know more about what happened AFTER.

sweet story

This wasn't my favorite Ahern book. I understand it's a short story...but still, a lot of parts annoyed me. Good for a quick read, though.

I have all of Cecelia Ahern's books and this is a good short story. Great addition to the collection! Enjoy!!

I Don't understand people that say her short stories aren't as good as her novels. I love them both just the same. Of course she can go into much more detail and take you into a whole other world with her novels but that doesn't mean that her short stories are not a nice little escape. loved it

Loved this book! Awesome short read! Only complaint is that I wish it was longer but LOVED it as a short story! Gave it to a friend that doesn't enjoy reading and she loved it too! Way to go Cecilia!

I love all Cecelia's books. I knew this was a short story and would never be as good as any of her others, which I think all deserve to be made into films.This book is a much more straight forward story about how one woman copes after her husband leaves her.It's actually very sweet and I enjoyed it.

Lovely story and enjoyable, but very short. Was surprised with the price.
