Osprey Europe Unisex Transporter Roll Top Lifestyle Pack

I am a big osprey fan! I have many of the backpacks in many sizes and colors. I bought this for work and absolutely love it! It has lots of room!

The design of the backpack is though out well and has been executed well. The bag appears to be completely waterproofed: the seams are stitched appropriately, and areas of concern are sewn with waterproof material. For example, although the bag exterior around the side compartments of the bag are simply water-resistant, the interior layers waterproof material that is completely integrated as a part of the bag and is not simply "attached". Furthermore, the front zippered pocket is hooded, preventing water from seeping into it (please note that I have not experienced being in heavy rain quite yet, so please be cautious with my words). Also, I am quite a heavy packer that often carries textbooks in my bags, and the additional top handle has lasted for the last two months despite being hanged occasionally.I am also quite a big fan of the organization of the bag. The internal organizer is completely hitched onto the back of the interior, meaning it doesn't sag. The laptop compartment has a false bottom (it's raised) that can fit my MacBook Air even with it's hardshell case on, and the smaller pockets vary in sizes that allow me dedicate each one respectively to a wallet, calculator, and pens. I think it's a nice feature that this organizer uses a stretchy material and that the top seams of each pocket are layered and durable. However, although it's considerate that the designers have included a keyloop inside the bag--considering that the bag is a roll-top--I barely use this feature. It would be more efficient to place the keyloop inside the front exterior pocket of the bag or in either of the side compartments.Lastly, this bag meets my needs in terms of comfort and safety. The addition of adjustable lumbar and sternum straps makes it a trusty companion for cycling. However, my only complaint is that you will be biking with free straps riding in the wind. If this is discomforting, I'd suggest using stretchy loops to secure the straps to themselves. Also, as the shoulder straps are hitched quite high on the bag (and the added necessity of finding a balanced sternum and lumbar strap tightness), I've sometimes encountered issues with visibility when it came to shoulder checking where I was forced to stop and readjust my straps. If you're planning on biking, please try to find your preferred strap tightness.Anyways, I'm glad I bagged this bag (GET IT? MWAHAHAAHAH!).Cheers.

When I received this backpack I really wasn’t sure. My old Timbuktu backpack was wearing out so I needed a new backpack for my commute. I tried my backpack in the side compartment and couldn’t get it in so I tried just putting it in the main compartment. I didn’t love that, so I let it sit for a while considering returning it. Of course the return window passed and I decided to try it again. It’s a really tight fit, but my laptop does fit! So I’ve been using it a couple weeks and love it. I LOVE the water bottle pockets because my large bottle fits and you could even do two. I used it in the rain and everything inside stayed dry. I always thought it looked great, so I’m happy it performs well too!

Very tidy looking bag for work and (non airline) travel. Possibly too big for low cost airlines, especially Wizz! But good bag, tidy water bottle side skirts. But EXPENSIVE (I got in sale, but still...)
