I play guitar and flute, but wanted to get better at hearing music straight off the page thereby making hearing the music come first and the mechanics of playing it second. The exercises in this book are very helpful for this endeavor.

A brilliant way to learn sight-singing, ear training, solfege, and clefs. I studied this at Mannes College of Music way back in the 90s, and was so happy to get this complete edition. The binding is excellent, the size is perfect, and it feels really good in the hand. I'm now using this book as part of my teaching an AP Music Theory course, and the students' progress is remarkable. Highly recommended!
